Personal Management

We all know that motivated staff work better and harder.
Happy work force(員工)=happy customers

Provide a great environment to work in and look after your staff the way you expect them to look after your customers.
If you take care of your people, business will take care of itself.
Why should they be nice customers if they are getting a raw deal (不公正的待遇) at work themselves?
Keep them happy by providing what they need in terms of training (softs kills as well as technical knowledge) and genuine support with positive message where appropriate and constructive feedback where development is needed.
We all like to be rewarded or praised for doing it well.
A good reward scheme is a great motivator, especially if your team are conducting outbound calls(外呼業(yè)務(wù)).
Introduce color in the work space
Inspire your staff to work hard and strive for success.
Call centers can be bland, so you can create a more vibrant atmosphere by introducing color in the work place, using motivational images and pictures to brighten the area.
These little, low-cost improvements can make a significant impact on your workforce.
Sometimes the simplest of changes can make a significant impace on employees' working culture and attitude.
Be careful promoting people into management roles
One of the most mistakes, one which I have never understood, is moving consistent, well-performing call center staff into management roles and away from the front line of customer service.
Often when these top performers are promoted to managing others, they are replaced by less talented individuals.
But many good call center staff are willfully independent workers, so can find management roles stressful and demotivating. Ultimately, the result is the business losses out on two fronts.

Strategic Planning

During the bubble days, when real estate prices seemed to be going up by thousands of dollars a week, the prevailing advice was,"Buy as soon as you possibly can!"
But we've since seen where that advice got people - in many cases, into financial trouble having bought houses they couldn't really afford, with mortgages that ultimately dwarfed what they could have been playing in rent for a similar home.
So, it's time to take a step back and rethink your strategy. If you're currently a renter, but thinking about buying, consider both:
1. whether your plans and lifestyle would dovetail well with(吻合,適合) buying a house, and?
2. whether buying a house makes financial sense for you.
Whether you want to buy a house is one thing, and whether it's a smart move money-wise is another. So you need to look at the actual numbers.
But it's not as simple as merely saying,"My monthly rent check is x, and my monthly mortgage payment would be, so I should [either rent or buy]!"

Sales

How much should you charge for a new product? Charge too much and it won't sell - a problem that can be fixed relatively easily by reducing the price.
Charging too little is far more dangerous: a company not only forgoes (以...為代價(jià),犧牲)significant revenues and profits but also fixes the product's market value position at a low level.
And as companies have found time and again, once prices hit the market, it is difficult, even impossible, to raise them.
In our experience, 80 to 90 percent of all poorly chosen prices are too low.
Companies consistently undercharge for products despite spending millions or even billions of dollars to develop or acquire them.
Many companies want to make a quick grab for market share or return on investment, and with high prices both objectives can be harder to achieve.

When a body is fit, it can handle the everyday stresses of life and helps maintain both physical and mental health.
A fit body requires proper diet, regular exercise, and habits of moderation (節(jié)制).
Physical exercise has an important role in keeping the body fit. It is not possible to have a fit body without performing regular physical exercise.
Employers, you can help your employees be more productive and engaged workers. Including activities and programs that improve the mental and physical health of your staff members will help them enhance their work performance.
Your employees will experience many benefits by maintaining good health.
Stress is reduced, focusing is easier, fatigue is minimized and job satisfaction is increased when workers adopt a more healthy way of life.
Help them switch some of their routines could also help you reduce the cost of your company health care plan.
However, for maximum impact make sure the focus of your health initiative is helping your employees get heathier rather than helping your organization save money.
How to promote the need for health and fitness to all staff?
Plan onsite group fitness activities during lunch or after work hours, and allow your staff members to choose if they'd like to participate.
Offer a free, healthy lunch option to employees once a month.
Provide them with a stipend(補(bǔ)貼)that they can use for fitness activities, such as gym memberships or yoga classes.
Encourage your employees to take short breaks between long periods of work to help them regain focus and avoid burnout(精疲力盡).
Personalize items for your employees that will motivate them to pursue fitness activities.
