Learn from Lei Feng

Lei Feng was a model soldier in China.

He was born in a poor family in a small village of HuNan.When he was eighteen, he went to work in the city.He was a coal miner ,but he was very hopeful ,he always thought his work was good . In December in 1959, he joined the Communist Party. He loved people in the Party. He thought"I want to do some good things for the people . He always helped others.

There is a famous saying: "A thousand miles Lei Feng travelled, a thousand times he helped others. " The leader Mao said: "Learn from Lei Feng!"

Although Lei Feng has been dead for many years now, he lives in our hearts forever.

"If you were one drop of water, do you moisten the field? If you were a ray of sunshine, do you brighten the darkness? If you were a morsel of food, do you provide others with nutrition? If you were the tiniest bolt, do you stay in place and fulfill your duty? If you want to tell others your ideals, do you preach them day and night? When you are alive ,do you always remember to work hard and realize your efforts will affect future lives and let the world become more beautiful day by day? I want to ask you: What do you contribute to the future? In life you must be a giver and not just a taker."

如果你是一滴水，你是否滋潤了一寸土地？如果你是一線陽光，你是否照亮了一分黑暗？如果你是一顆糧食，你是否哺育了有用的生命？如果你是一顆最小的螺絲釘，你是否永遠(yuǎn)守在你生活的崗位上？如果你要告訴我們什么思想，你是否在日夜宣揚那最美麗的理想？你既然活著，你又是否為了未來的人類生活付出你的勞動，使世界一天天變得更美麗？我想問你，為未來帶來了什么？在生活的倉庫里，我們不應(yīng)該只是個無窮盡的支付者。

Everybody in the society should learn from Lei Feng, and offer his strength and love to the society and to other people.

人人都應(yīng)學(xué)習(xí)雷鋒，把自己的力量與真愛奉獻(xiàn)給社會，奉獻(xiàn)給他人。

We are students, we should learn from Lei Feng spirit of dedication. We should try our best to help others.
