I used to travel by air a great deal when I was a boy. My parents used to live in South America and I used to fly there from Europe in the holidays. A flight attendant would take charge of me and I never had an unpleasant experience. I am used to traveling by air and only on one occasion have I ever felt frightened.

我小時(shí)候曾經(jīng)坐飛機(jī)旅游過(guò)很多次。我父母曾住在南美洲，我以前都是飛回歐洲度假的。我總是由一位空乘照顧，我從沒(méi)有不好的經(jīng)歷。我已經(jīng)習(xí)慣了坐飛機(jī)旅游，只有一次把我嚇壞了。

After taking off, we were flying low over the city and slowly gaining height, when the plane suddenly turned round and flew back to the airport. While we were waiting to land, a flight attendant told us to keep calm and to get off the plane quietly as soon as it had touched down.

起飛之后，我們低空掠過(guò)城市，慢慢地提升高度，然而飛機(jī)突然返航并降落回了機(jī)場(chǎng)。當(dāng)我們等待落地時(shí)，一名空乘讓我們保持冷靜并下了飛機(jī)。

Everybody on board was worried and we were curious to find out what had happened. Later we learnt that there was a very important person on board. The police had been told that a bomb had been planted on the plane. After we had landed, the plane was searched thoroughly. Fortunately, nothing was found and five hours later we were able to take off again.

飛機(jī)上每個(gè)人都很緊張，我們都想知道發(fā)生了什么。后來(lái)我們了解到，飛機(jī)上有一個(gè)很重要的人。警察被告知飛機(jī)上裝了一顆炸彈。在我們降落之后，飛機(jī)被仔細(xì)檢查。幸運(yùn)的是，什么也沒(méi)找到，5小時(shí)之后，我們重新起飛了。
