1991 Honda EP-X







終于在1991年,本田在法蘭克福展出了兩款夢(mèng)想之車。
這兩款車分別是FS-X轎車和EP-X雙門跑車。
小小的EP-X(Efficient Personal Experimental,高效個(gè)人實(shí)驗(yàn)車)是一款奇特的、狹窄的串聯(lián)式雙座車,也是完全由鋁制成。它由一臺(tái)1.0升的三缸發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)提供動(dòng)力,據(jù)稱它具有高度的空氣動(dòng)力性、高效性和安全性,雖然不實(shí)用。
通過這款在第29屆東京車展上推出的EPX概念車,本田正在探索新一代汽車風(fēng)格的新架構(gòu)。EPX代表了一款原創(chuàng)的城市通勤車,旨在優(yōu)化經(jīng)濟(jì)性、對(duì)環(huán)境的影響以及提供不同的駕駛體驗(yàn)。兩名乘客是串聯(lián)而坐的。單人座有兩個(gè)門,兩側(cè)各一個(gè),并且可以打開車篷,方便進(jìn)出。設(shè)計(jì)上很大程度上以空氣動(dòng)力學(xué)為導(dǎo)向,盡量遵循雞蛋的簡單形狀。駕駛員的全方位視野非常出色。乘客可能就沒那么欣賞了。儀表盤采用了多功能液晶顯示屏(LCD)。兩個(gè)地方都實(shí)施了安全氣囊。這并不是一輛行駛中的車輛,本田沒有提供任何關(guān)于推進(jìn)系統(tǒng)的規(guī)格。

These were the FS-X saloon and EP-X coupe.
The little EP-X (Efficient Personal Experimental) was a curious, narrow tandem two-seater, also made entirely from aluminum. Powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine, it was claimed to be highly aerodynamic, efficient and safe if impractical.
With this EPX Concept car, introduced at the 29th Tokyo Motor Show, Honda is exploring new architecture for a next generation car style. The EPX represents an original urban commuter aimed at optimizing economy, impact on environment as well as providing a different driving experience. The two passenger are seated in tandem. There are two doors, one on each side, of a single seat and the canopy can be opened for easy access. The design is heavily oriented toward aerodynamic and follows as much as possible the simple shape of an egg. The driver's all around visibility is exceptional. The passenger might not appreciate so much. The instrument panel incorporates a multifunction LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). Air bags are implemented for both places. It is not a running vehicle and Honda does not provide any specification on the propulsion system.
