Indeed, you can hear a lot of the former in "Sprawl II"'s winding synth line and insistent beat, but considering the subject matter, the song has a lot in common with New Order's own teenage electro-fantasias as well. Influences aside, "Sprawl II" is the latest engaging missive from a band that continues to evolve while remaining true to their own hearts.
