ST CATHARINE’S COLLEGE

Founded in 1473, St Catharine’s (known affectionately as Catz) is located in the heart of Cambridge, in walking distance of most university faculties and departments – and the river, shops, and social events… The College combines picturesque 17th and 18th century buildings and gardens with award-winning modern facilities like our lecture theatre, boathouse, squash and badminton courts, sports grounds and bar, which doubles as a coffee shop during the day. Catz is an exceptionally supportive and welcoming community, dedicated to helping students do as well as they can academically. Our students often comment on how many people are available to help if they have financial or welfare problems. A busy calendar of events ensures undergraduates, postgraduates and academic staff have regular opportunities to mix and learn from each other. With a wide range of clubs and societies, it’s also easy to feel at home and build lasting friendships.
