第六節(jié) 與人有關的活動做主語
英語中與人有關的的心理活動、身體動作、人的外表都可以用作主語。
1. The memory she'd been resisting came back to her.
她又想起一直不愿想的事情。
2. Reminiscences, the most trifling and immaterial, passages of infancy and school-
days, sports, childish quarrels, and the little domestic traits of her maiden years, came
swarming back upon her, intermingled with recollections of whatever was gravest in
her subsequent life; one picture precisely as vivid as another; as if all were of similar
importance, or all alike a play.
她回憶起那些最瑣碎零散最無關緊要的事情,孩提時期和學校生活,兒時的游戲
和爭吵,以及婚前在娘家的種種瑣事蜂擁回到她的腦海,其中還混雜著她后來生活中
