1.學(xué)習(xí)和交友：

KongQ remarked,?

"It is indeed a pleasure to acquire knowledge and, as you go on acquiring, to put into practice what you have acquired.?

-A greater pleasure still it is when friends of congenial minds come from afar to see you because of your attainments.?

-But he is truly a wise and good man who feels no discomposure even when he is not noticed of men."

2.辜鴻銘對(duì)仁義的見識(shí)

"A wise man who leaves his moral character is no longer entitled to the name of a wise man.?

A wise man never for one single moment（ in his life loses sight ）of a moral life;?

In moments of haste and hurry, as in moments of danger and peril, he always clings to it."

3.談人和獸的區(qū)別：

There is a wise man's talk about the difference between a Man and a beast：

KongQ, once expressing admiration for a disciple, remarked,?

"There is Runyon（冉雍：Runyon）——he should be made a prince."

On another occasion, when that disciple（Geoggon仲弓） asked Confucius' opinion of a certain public character of the time.?

KongQ?answered, "He is a good man; he is independent."

"Hold on，Johnny，" replied the Geoggon，

?"when a man in his private life is serious with himself, he may, in his public life, be independent in dealing with the people.…

-But to be independent with himsel?in his private life as well as independent in his public life,

-is there not too much independence in that?"

"Ya，u're right."

王豳在《辜鴻銘文集》采擷了三段；

孔丘：KongQ，孔子，Johnny，仲尼，本文中都是孔子的意思；

每一段新加一個(gè)小標(biāo)題；

原文Yung（楊）改作Runyon（冉雍）；

給仲弓起個(gè)英文名字Geoggon；

發(fā)語詞改了；

評(píng)：

辜鴻銘學(xué)在西洋，仕在北洋。他認(rèn)同中華文明，并甘當(dāng)衛(wèi)道士，至死不渝。

那么即便他血管里有1/2英格蘭血統(tǒng)，他也是中國(guó)人。

現(xiàn)在有的人臉是中國(guó)人的臉，血是中國(guó)人的血，但是讀過幾本外國(guó)名著，吃過幾天面包，就食洋不化，東施效顰；

這類假學(xué)者、真小人，不愧為狗屁不通的現(xiàn)代假洋鬼子。

筆者對(duì)辜先生那學(xué)貫中西的文學(xué)功夫、豪杰的胸襟膽氣，十分欽佩。

辜鴻銘治學(xué)之盛，一時(shí)無兩，筆者要向他學(xué)習(xí)；

對(duì)辜鴻銘的保皇立場(chǎng)，到了2021年的今天，我們需要警惕。

? ?我們時(shí)不時(shí)地就會(huì)看到當(dāng)代學(xué)者對(duì)大學(xué)者朱熹冷嘲熱諷，--請(qǐng)不必奇怪，這種事也發(fā)生在辜鴻銘身上；

學(xué)生們看見他留辮子，笑他；

張作霖見了他，一個(gè)老頭，梳辮子，穿的古板，輕蔑地說：“你能干啥？”

張之洞尊敬他，信用他，青史名標(biāo)。

所以，

對(duì)當(dāng)代（二零零零年以后）媒體、文學(xué)作品中對(duì)辜鴻銘的挖苦諷刺，無非是吃不到葡萄的狐貍的心態(tài)，他們?cè)诙始伤?/p>
