There is Adam or maybe his Father , quoting an Earth philosopher does rise my suspicion, but i get a feeling maybe he heard it from his father (bible was quoted a lot by both of them i believe), there is also The Godess, all the ideas and doctorines she has are a lot more advanced than the current era suggests, and she was like that from the start, so those are my picks over who one of the cacoon belongs to.

Well one of the few things I noticed was the push for gender equality by the Evernight Godess but that might be reaching too far as she is female herself so it might just be based on that factor. We might not have met or heard about that character at all up to this point, tho I think that's unlikely since the author has been great at foreshadowing so far.

Actually really happy he got the Red Priest card out of this. Even if killing Ince Zangwill is absolutely priceless to Klein it doesn’t have any tangible value. The advancement ritual is great too but I’m confident he could have found an easier, cleaner way to accomplish it against a far weaker opponent if he wasn’t burdened by revenge.

Losing a marionette with an 8000 Pound characteristic, a 55000 Pound Bounty, two Mystical Items worth over 10000 Pounds and two charms containing Angel-level powers without getting anything tangible in return would have been a huge bummer. Instead, a huge profit!

I think we are making a major mistake in interpreting the empty cocoons. The grey fog is related to the Seer pathway, and there are twenty one other pathways with something possibly similar. It might mean that there are three from the Seer pathway, and possibly more from others. The grey fog might not be only domain with this characteristic.

As much as I love this novel, I can't help but voice my criticism of this chapter. I can't help but feel that the death of Daly Simone only happened for the sake of emphasizing the madness and absurdity of this world, something that we are already all too familiar with. Her emotional departure, while foreshadowed and enacted extremely well, feels totally unnecessary. First of all, Leonard and Daly's appearance at the scene itself feels too theatrical. Why would Klein knowingly invite a sequence 6 Leonard to this demigod fight? Furthermore, inviting Daly was an 'on the spur' moment for Leonard as well. All this feels contrary to what should be more carefully planned. Furthermore, apart from drawing extreme aggression from Ince Zangwill, there doesn't seem to be anything Leonard did that Enzo couldn't do as a marionette. What did it do besides praying and causing bad luck? Did it just stay on standby the entire time? It feels contrary to Klein's character to not put his marionettes to full use. Daly's presence was never part of Klein's plan, and it's prevention was so simple as well. A simple additional 10000 pound payment to Miss Messenger to chase away sprit world creatures beforehand could have sufficed. All her death serves is to leave behind a sense of powerlessness in the aftermath of absurd beyonder powers. All of this could point to a rather frightening conclusion. Klein's usual meticulousness is turning more cold-blooded and rash compared to his usual self. He is becoming increasing overconfident and inhuman. Mistakes happen, but to this level?

Well I would say Klein carefully planned out everything. If you noticed, Ludwell, Enzo, Leonard and Reneitte are all involved in this plan, he needs every help he can get to take down a demigod with a grade 0 artifact. However there are always things beyond planing, in this case, Adam. I think right now it’s clear that he manipulated things to make sure Ince come to South Continent, as well as Klein, Leonard and Daly.

As for your doubt for Daly, no one can predict everything beforehand. No one knew Ince would write that sentence. Maybe her death is pointless, maybe without Daly, Ince wouldn’t succeeded either since Reinette did chase the beings away later. But at the end, the point is, Daly decided to give up everything for this revenge, and she did.

I agree with the points about Daly but disagree with most of the rest, especially the end.

Enzo - First it’s impossible to have Klein control Enzo while above the Gray Fog. Second Enzo has no power at all besides causing bad luck or good luck which Klein used fine. Besides that all he is is a body. The only other thing he could have done would be to use Word of The Sea but that would have been redundant since the Sea God Scepter is more powerful. All his other Mystical Items were already in use or too weak to help. The few moments he was down below he was either was controlling Ludwell to get rid of Medici while using Enzo’s luck power or blowing Ince’s brains out with Death Knell after Enzo stopped mattering.

Leonard - Leonard’s value wasn’t that high but he still had value. Leonard didn’t care about risking his life if he could prove useful too. Since that’s the case, why wouldn’t he come? Using the Fate Siphon Charm and Creeping Hunger Leonard has a big impact. He also drew a lot of Ince’s attention at key moments. On top of that Zoroast could have possibly woken up and provided some sort of help.

Klein’s “Rashness” - I’m sorry what? He literally planned out all the steps in the battle from beginning to end to the point of not even thinking in the real world to avoid 0-08’s influence. That is the exact opposite of rash. I have no idea what gave you the impression Klein acted rashly here.

倫納德——倫納德在這里發(fā)揮的價值不是很高，但還是有用的。他甚至不惜冒著生命危險，也要證明他在這里能派得上用場。既然如此，那為什么不讓他來呢？用上竊運者符咒和蠕動的饑餓的倫納德，在這里發(fā)揮了大作用。關鍵時刻時他也吸引了很多因斯的注意力。除此之外，索羅亞斯德也有一點及時醒來，給他提供某種幫助的可能性啊。

你說克萊恩太“莽”——抱歉，你說啥？他確確實實地把這場戰(zhàn)斗從頭至尾的步驟全部都計劃好了啊，以至于他在現(xiàn)實世界甚至可以完全不進行思考地執(zhí)行，以此來擺脫0-08的影響。這和莽完全相反吧。我不知道你為什么會覺得克萊恩這次表現(xiàn)得很莽。

Thanks for the chapter. This is awesome and the same time sad volume. Madam Daly is dead but at least she is gonna be with the captain. Klein has now become a demigod, so good news for himself and the tarot club. From the looks of it , Leonard will be joining the tarot club. More of the members are becoming stronger than before. The tarot club has also acquired potential allies.

I wonder who is the first transmigrator??. I bet it's the creator/ancient sun god that is the father of adam and amon because you need a lot of plot armor to be that powerful.

It should be easy to figure out if a Bizzaro Sorcerer is dead or alive depending on what beyonder characteristic appears from the body you killed right?

Does anyone think that Bizzaro Sorcerer is extremely underwhelming? Sure it’s a big upgrade to the abilities he already has but besides instantly swapping places, shifting his injuries on to paper figurines and allowing marionettes to use his beyonder powers his powers are pretty much the same. I was expecting some crazy godhood Sorcerer OOMPH. I was also somewhat hoping his main body would be able to use the marionette powers of at least one marionette but might be a little much. If so that would be well worth the demigod title but it doesn’t really fit the principles of his Pathway. Borrowing a stealth ability to hide behind the scenes better would have been pretty awesome.

There are still a ton of unanswered details about his new powers. How many marionettes can he have? It should have been 3 after digestion but before advancing is it still 3? How far can he control them from? Taking over new marionettes from 150 meters is a huge upgrade and it was mentioned he can swap within 1000 meters. Can he control his marionettes in the same range as swapping?

His super speed of creating marionettes is appalling in a great way. The 3/15 second time is for people with the same level spirits body as him. A Sequence 5 without godhood would take how long? 5 seconds? Less? The myriad available powers below demigod should still be extremely useful to him if he finds good ones that compliment each other. The non-offensive powers will always be useful and if he picks the right Pathway even combat powers without godhood could be quite strong. Death Knell blasted Ince Zangwill to pieces after all. Green Essence and Flower of Blood might be outdated now though as he can just shift all injuries into Paper Figurines.

I can’t wait to see him in action. Analysis and reality aren’t always the same hopefully it’ll be mind-blowing.

還有其他人覺得詭法師其實相當拉胯嗎？我知道這的確是對他目前已有的能力的巨大提升，但除了能瞬間交換位置、轉移傷勢到紙人替身上還有給秘偶賦予他自身的技能這幾點之外，基本和以前大同小異。我本來還期待能有一些什么強爆表的神級法術技能呢，唉。我之前也有點希望他的本體也能使用至少一個秘偶的非凡能力，但這就有點太強了。如果是這樣的話就很能配得上半神的名號了，但這和他的途徑的規(guī)律又不太符合。如果能借走一個隱身能力，讓他得以更好地隱藏在幕后的話就太好了。

關于他的新能力，還有一大堆未解的謎題。他能擁有多少個秘偶？在消化之后應該能有3個，但在晉級之前是3個嗎？他能從多遠的距離進行操控？能從150米遠的地方轉化新秘偶是一個巨大的提升，而且之前也提了他能在1000米以內進行位置交換。他控制秘偶的最遠距離和交換位置的距離一樣嗎？

他轉化秘偶的速度現(xiàn)在究極快，這就挺好。3秒到15秒的時間，就能轉化一個和他靈體層面同級的人。一個沒有神性的序列5需要這么久嗎？5秒？或者更少？半神以下的無數(shù)好用的能力對他來說應該還是照樣有用，如果他能找到相互配合得當?shù)木秃昧?。非攻擊類的能力應該一直都會是挺有用的，如果他選擇了對的途徑，甚至即使是沒有神性，在戰(zhàn)斗力上也會有很強的發(fā)揮。畢竟把因斯·贊格威爾轟成碎片的還是喪鐘。不過綠華戒指和血之花現(xiàn)在可能有點過時了，因為他完全可以把這些傷害都轉移到紙人上。

迫不及待想看他開始下次行動了。畢竟分析和實戰(zhàn)還是不一樣的，希望他還能繼續(xù)給出震碎三觀級別的戰(zhàn)斗表現(xiàn)。

Theory:

The original owner of the grey fog was an ancient God before there were sequence pathways... He combined Fool+apprentice+Marauder Godhood (or perhaps he was the Original Creator himself) . At some point he prepared a method for revival (that maggot door with the cocoons): All those "transmigrators" are actually part of his mythical creature form and are just dreaming Earth's existence. The door releases one of them into the real world with the aim to let them aquire Godhood in the fool/apprentice/maurauder domain. Klein's two predecessors failed this part because they chose the wrong sequence and cannot return to the main body above the grey fog.

So back when Klein made everyone believe that the Fool was an ancient God who is trying to reawaken, he actually hit the mark 100%.

One of the things I love about this story is how mental illness and despair and madness are always the cost of power and knowledge. It gives a depth to the story that few other stories have.

Hmmm. Probably not? Mostly because Antigonus at Sequence 1 and the scene in the gray fog (Sequence 0?) are still maggots even though they’ve advanced to a very high level. Worm of Time is likely a higher Marauder Pathway Sequence and that doesn’t fit the flies idea either.

Wow. I 100% thought we would see some Church if Evernight reactions and some Leonard, etc. I was lowkey annoyed at the murder scene part as a waste of pages even tho it's obviously important set up. But damn...this therapy session has me misty eyed. I'm not sure why Klein has lost hope tho...seems like the discovery of the cocoons means he is closer to the secrets of transmigration. Maybe it's because it looks like it's a one way thing...certain earthlings have the potential to crossover to this world...but maybe not vice versa.

I think he thinks that all the cocoons were pulled from earth at the same time a long time ago. Later, the people inside started gradually waking up but a very long time has passed, so even if he made it back to Earth it would have been hundreds of years later. This explains why Klein and Roselle seem to have left Earth around the same time but woke up a few hundred years apart.

Add to that, we can probably assume that Roselle is the second one since it was speculated by him that the ancient elf king & previous seq.0 Tyrant was a transmigrator because of the thing like chopsticks and blood cakes he introduced. This would mean that Klein as the 3rd to awaken would have been asleep for at least 1-2 thousand years.

My own theory is that the original Ruler of the gray fog pulled all the souls from earth either at the beginning of world or when He died as a backup plan to inherit His Authority or Uniqueness. My guess is He could end up being the Original Creator or a being of equal standing. Like maybe they both came from the Astral World and the Creators made the physical word and the original Ruler of the Gray Fog created the Spirit Word.

It cant be that long ago because ppl had cell phones and jeans. Unless they're all look pulled from modern earth but pulled to the past in this world. Who knows how the time works since him and Roselle were contemporaries on earth but had a long time separation in this world

I think the reason the murder scene existed was to break up the scene and emphasize that the last “play” has ended. If we went immediately into the therapy it would have felt like a continuation of the last volume or possibly been a bit abrupt.

我覺得這里寫一段謀殺案場景的原因就是為了分割劇目次序，強調上一幕已經完結了的事實。如果我們直接跳進心理治療這個細分，就會覺得好像上一卷還沒完，或者也許會有一點突兀。

The sign of a good author, clearly breaking up each volume in a subtle way well insuring it sets up future events and isnt to jarring. Thinking about the Churchs reaction though, probably gonna get that in the next few chapters.
