第四集：悲喜童年

Episode four: His Childhood

One of Confucius' favorite resorts when he was young was the ancestral temple, where he witnessed numerous ceremonies and, having been inspired by the magnificent spectacle at the solemn rituals, he loved the sacrificial events so dearly that back home he would play games with kids in the neighborhood to imitate the sacrificial ceremonies, bowing, kneeling, praying and pouring libations. The mother was so glad to see her son's decorous behavior that she kept encouraging him to learn

Confucius loved learning and began to learn systemically at the age of 15. Poor as he was, he was lucky to be able to have access to plenty of ancient documents and classics with which he increased his knowledge with each passing day.

But Heaven didn’t seem to have mercy on the widow and her son. When Confucius was only 17, his dear mother came to the end of her life, leaving her only teenage son to face a world full of uncertainty.

Mother's death did not prevent young Confucius from learning. And one thing that occurred between Yang Hu and him pushed him to study even harder.

小時候，孔子最常去的地方就是宗廟，在那里他親眼目睹了諸多的祭祀場面。莊嚴肅穆的祭祀禮節(jié)，讓小孔子感慨萬分?；氐郊抑校愫椭車暮⒆觽円黄鹉７?，鞠躬、下跪、祈禱、祭酒。兒子有模有樣的模仿，顏征在看在眼里，喜在心里，并一直給予鼓勵。

小孔子酷愛學習， 15歲開始便接受了系統(tǒng)的教育。雖然家境貧寒，但他有幸接觸到大量的古代文獻典籍，他的學識與日俱增。

上天的眷戀似乎并沒有降臨到這對孤兒寡母身上?？鬃?7歲時，顏征在就已經(jīng)走到了生命的盡頭，留下孤苦伶仃的孔子獨自面對迷茫的未來。

母親的去世并沒有阻止孔子學習。陽虎和孔子之間發(fā)生的一件事更堅定了他學習的信心。
