what are the differences between learning history from books and from videos ?

as far as I can tell , there are two major differences?lying between learning history from books and from videos , for real .

1st?learning history from books creates an opportunity for readers to foster and develop?imaginative thinking without getting confined by stereotypes such as a movie image , for instance ,.....

2nd?however there is an obvious advantage out of learning history from videos which is a fact that it saves time in the process , especially for those who have a job , say salaryman , for example ,....
