Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is full of lively breath. There are planted with hundreds of kinds of native medicines in Shizhen Garden. From far away,we can smell the fragrance of herbs that attract us to walk down some winding paths . In spring, all sorts of flowers are in bloom, and the smell of mixed green grass and nice mint come out all at once. We like to visit the herbal Garden to explore the true meaning of Chinese medicine.Perhaps learning Chinese medicine is like sailing alone on the sea, like trekking on a mountain full of thorns, very difficult, but we should not retreat and be defeated.In ShiZhen Garden,the wind blows the clouds and unfolds the leaves, as if telling us the secrets of the world.The raindrops fell on the flowers that bloomed silently.The stones lies beside like listening to the Buddhism quietly.The road to truth is like this tortuous trail,and as the Chinese medicine tells us, the true wisdom should be learnt from nature.

Walking along the fountain at the gate of the campus, there are raised a variety of fish carefully, white, black, and red...In summer, when the water spurts out all of a sudden, those cute fish will stick their heads out and open mouths, like talking, like singing in a chorus, as if the whole campus is beating with them.

There feeds a group of white pigeons next to the library. In autumn, under the blue sky, watching them flying in groups, there also comes a sudden feeling: "The rows of cranes flying into the blue sky arouse countless poetic emotions among visitors".

What located in front of the bird’s nest-shaped medical history museum is a peacock garden. In winter, most of the flowers and grasses in Shizhen ?garden are withered, and the fish in the pond stop being raised, while the peacock garden become a beautiful scenery on campus at that time. Many tourists come to watch and take photos of them outside.The peacocks open their screen with pride. Not only is the blue-green peacock, but also the white peacock seems not to be outdone. It looks like hosting a beauty contest, which provokes bursts of laughters from visitors.This scenery has become a warm embellishment in that piercingly cold winter.

In the busy work and life with a fast pace nowadays, we may have been tired of those high-rise buildings, colorful and noisy technologies outside.While now here is such a land of idyllic beauty that can just slow down our rushing steps and relieve our tense nerves.How wonderful it is! The beautiful scenery here affects my soul, and the cultural connotation of the campus entangles my heart. The school's motto is: A great doctor should possess superb skills and sincere ethic, keep improving themselves to reach the ultimate goodness. ?

The word "superb and sincere " let me ruminate deeply. Why is "being superb" put ahead of "being sincere"? Are medical skills more important than medical ethics? I was puzzled.Finally I combined my personal experience to understand it as the relationship between seif-discipline and helping-others.That is to say we need to be superb with self-discipline individually at first, than we can do a favor to others with lenience. The same is true for the Chinsese word "Jing cheng" in the Confucian ideas: if you want to promote yourself to help others, you have to establish and improve your own ability firstly.

At the beginning of the establishment of Fujian TCM University , the equipment and hardware were relatively primitive there, but just as the Literatus LiuYuxi once said: the mountain's fame does not lie in its height but in the presence of gods on it. The soul of river lies not in its depth but in the presence of real dragons in it. Although the material conditions of the place where I live are very poor, because of my noble quality, it seems not shabby. The same way, a person's fame relies on his noble character and the reputation of a school should depend on its cultural heritage.
