古代以色列的考古資料引人注目，尤其是將其與希伯來(lái)經(jīng)典相提并論之時(shí)。一部分學(xué)者相信，考古發(fā)現(xiàn)能證明希伯來(lái)經(jīng)典所述皆為史實(shí)；而另一部分學(xué)者則根據(jù)考古挖掘結(jié)果，大幅修改既往重構(gòu)的古代以色列歷史。本次講座將從零開(kāi)始，讓你從考古學(xué)視角來(lái)理解過(guò)去，也讓你發(fā)現(xiàn)考古學(xué)自身的局限性。就此，你將對(duì)考古發(fā)現(xiàn)有更實(shí)事求是的期待，且能更深刻認(rèn)識(shí)以色列考古與希伯來(lái)經(jīng)典之間的關(guān)系。

The archaeology of ancient Israel has long been a source of fasciation, and all the more so when one explores its relationship with the Hebrew Bible.?Some researchers seek to demonstrate the veracity of the biblical texts?through archaeological discoveries, while others drastically revise the reconstructed history of ancient Israel on the basis of the results of excavations. This lecture will?help you discover “from scratch” what archaeology reveals?about the past, but also what its limits are, so that you can have?a more realistic expectation of what archaeologists discover and a deeper understanding of its relationship to what the Hebrew Bible affirms.

講員信息

法語(yǔ)魯汶大學(xué)Matthieu Richelle教授的研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)楣糯陨袣v史、閃米特銘文以及希伯來(lái)經(jīng)典。他曾在耶路撒冷的法國(guó)圣經(jīng)與考古學(xué)院學(xué)習(xí)，并在法國(guó)高等研究應(yīng)用學(xué)院（索邦）獲得博士學(xué)位，還擁有多年的閃米特銘文教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。Richelle教授為學(xué)術(shù)界與普羅大眾貢獻(xiàn)的80余篇論文，主要涉及希伯來(lái)經(jīng)典、敘利亞-巴勒斯坦地區(qū)的歷史與銘文。他所撰寫(xiě)的法語(yǔ)著作包括《舊約詮釋導(dǎo)論》《<創(chuàng)世記>1–11章今讀》《以利沙遺訓(xùn)：馬索拉文本與七十士譯本的<列王紀(jì)下>13:10–14:16》。

Prof. Matthieu Richelle?from UCLouvain specializes in the Semitic inscriptions and biblical writings related to the history of ancient Israel. A former student at the école?biblique et archéologique fran?aise de Jérusalem, he received his PhD from the école Pratique des Hautes études (Sorbonne) and has taught courses on ancient Semitic inscriptions there for years. Richelle has written more than 80 scholarly and popular articles on the Bible and the history and inscriptions of Syria-Palestine, and he is the author of several books (in French), including?A Guide to Old Testament Exegesis,?Understanding Genesis 1—11 Today, and?The Testament of Elisha: Masoretic Text and Septuagint in 2 Kings 13:10—14:16.
