A Minecraft player placed a red mushroom in his own server, this is how his server shut down.
GB is a owner of a Minecraft server. One day, a strange player placed a red mushroom in the End Biome. It seems to be OK, so why did the server shut down? Well, there’s a little thing that you have to know about Minecraft Server.
At first, there is a special protection to keep the server safe. You can imagine, this protection is a number, the max number a chunk or a biome is able to spawns mobs. That means, if the number is 50, then the system will check the number of mobs, if there’s already 50 mobs in the biome or the chunk, then the system won’t spawn more mobs. However, if an Enderman picks up a red mushroom, then the system won’t count this Enderman into the number. That means, if there are 50 Endermen which are picking red mushroom in their hands, the system will keep spawning more Endermen.
Secondly, red mushroom in Minecraft will grow and spawn in places with 11 or lower light level. So, the mushroom grows, then Endermen pick up more mushrooms, then more Endermen will spawned.
Now, back to the case. So,
哼哼哼啊啊啊啊啊寫不下去了
After someone covered the whole End Biome by water, finally, the Endermen stopped spawning and there’s no more mushrooms. Then, the server is able to make A recovery.
Thanks so much for watching, take care of your server, and be well.
