·Time Management

I think the biggest challenge for me initially will be managing my workload in respect of the study I need to do and my time management.

Although this challenge will not be a problem for me, I'm under no illusion that things will be tough at first as a postgraduate student until I get settled into a routine that I'm comfortable with.

I've already made a plan about how to overcome this challenge and that includes ensuring I dedicate a lot of hours to my studies until I assess the right amount I need to do in order to maintain pace with the syllabus.

· Isolation

I think the biggest challenge for me initially will be isolation. Graduate schools can be very isolating because much of the work will be done independently.? I will have increased class, work, and study obligations, and as a result, I may become less engaged with others.?

Although this challenge will not be a problem for me, I'm under no illusion that things will be tough at first in Grad School until I get settled into a routine that I'm comfortable with.

I've already made a plan about how to overcome this challenge and I believe I can combat isolation by creating or working with graduate student groups on campus.

·隔離

我認為最初對我來說最大的挑戰(zhàn)將是孤立。研究生院可能會非常孤立，因為大部分工作都是獨立完成的。我將增加課堂、工作和學習的義務，因此，我可能會減少與他人的交往。

· conduct research

During my first semester of grad school, learning how to actually conduct good research was a major challenge.

Some people enter graduate school with extensive research experience already, but I was not one of those people. I had some minor research experience and knew I wanted to conduct research myself, but that was the extent of my research knowledge.?

I will try not to let myself get discouraged. I may feel like my wheels are spinning in the mud for a while, but eventually I will make progress. That's what I believe.

·進行研究

在我的研究生院的第一學期，學習如何真正進行好的研究是一個主要的挑戰(zhàn)。

有些人進入研究生院已經(jīng)有豐富的研究經(jīng)驗，但我不是一員。我有一些次要的研究經(jīng)驗，知道我想自己進行研究，但這是我的研究知識的程度。

我會盡量不讓自己氣餒。我可能會覺得我的輪子在泥里旋轉(zhuǎn)了一段時間，但最終我會取得進展的。這就是我所相信的。
