Good day, everyone! I am Upssie, a ten-year-old boy who comes from Nigeria. And I am currently living in the southeast of China. The city I live in is called Zhoushan.

I love the city Zhoushan, do you want to know the reason why I like it so much? Well, first of all, the air is very clear. As you know, clear air can make us healthy people, can't it? Secondly, the sea is around our city, so the climate is very pleasant. What's more, the seafood in Zhoushan is very delicious. We have fish, crabs, and so on! I am a foodie. Apart from them, the people here are much more friendlier than those in other cities. All in all, it is a great city. Do you like it as well?

Now let me introduce myself. I am an excellent student studying in Class Eight, Grade Seven, Donggang Middle School. It is a school with a long history. At school, my favorite subject is English, and I am also good at it. English is the official language in a lot of countries. And it can be used everywhere around the world. So in my opinion, it is very important to learn English well. Apart from that, English is totally an easy language to learn, isn't it? But I do not like art at all, because I cannot draw well. But as the old saying goes, 'Practice makes perfect', I will work more on it in order to do better in art. I am an easygoing and hard-working person, so there won't be any pressure to talk to me. In my spare time, I am fond of travelling, because it can make me understand the world in a better way. I recently joined the story-telling club. I also love telling stories. It can improve my Chinese skills.

I have a good friend named Pyter. He is tall and thin. She likes chicken and rice for dinner.I love my friend. We have healthy food. Pyter likes sharing interesting things with others. For example, she likes telling us her funny stories of her childhood. She always tells me that I should be braver. Under her influence, I have become a brave person and I find that it makes me feel so great. I am so grateful that I can have such a good friend.

With my parents' help, I grew up. So they are the most important people to me. My mother is very kind and beautiful although she is not tall. She is 42 years old this year. She is a nurse, so she is always very busy day and night. But she loves her job, and she often takes care of her patients. Of course, she likes singing, dancing, cooking and shopping, but she has almost no time to do them. Oh, I love my mother.

My father is a peasant. Four years ago he came to the city, and found a job. And then my mother and I moved here. At that time, my father earned little money and could hardly support the family. I was small, short and thin then. My parents sometimes buy me some good food. I remember clearly once they gave me roast chicken. Oh, I liked it best. I asked them to eat together, but they both said they didn't like it. So I ate it up. Now our life is better. One evening, my father bought some roast chicken again, and we ate it happily. Suddenly, I understood why they hadn't eaten it before. They just wanted me to eat it. This is my parents' love!
