[Out of curiosity] Do you think Indians are getting taller in the younger generations?

I'm 41 years old guy who's 6 foot 1 inch. Im my generation I rarely see (or saw while growing up), any guy who was more than 6 feet. But I do seem to notice a lot more taller guys amongst the younger folks.
Do you guys think or is there any evidence that with greater income and food availability in India, the average height is increasing?
P.s 1 : I feel its especially true for women. In my generation I'd rarely see women more than 5 foot 4. But in younger generation, I see so many girls who are 5 foot 7.
P.s 2: I got this idea because i realised few days back what whenever we talk of people from China or other South Asian countries, we generally assume they're really shorter than Indians. That got me curious and I googled a bit. And it seems the average height of lots of those countries like China, South Korea is actually more than Indians. In fact china's average height for men has increased by 2.5 inches in the last 30 years due to economic prosperity and South Koreans are lot larger than North Koreans in just 50 odd years of difference in nutrition / prosperity etc.

Actually, in the united states height grew around 1950s due to better food. So, yeah, better food availability is know to raise average height, though I think some peoples are naturally tall like the vikings, so food isn't the only determination of height, but they correlate.

Approximately 18% of Indian men are 6 ft and above (atleast in urban areas). Once I got curious and scrApped data from a few popular matrimonial sites?
And roughly 4% of sample population earned over 20L per annum. 10% of sample population had master's degree or above. Obviously, this is not rigorous as there might be sampling bias and people exaggerating their stats.

Lol ..... consider the fact that lots of Indian men lie about height on matrimonial sites. In my experience, many people who are 5'10" claim they're 6 feet. I once had a friend like that. He was 5 foot 10 but claimed he was 6 foot and told me I wrongly consider myself 6 foot 1 and I'm 6 foot 4 (I'm not) !!

Not just on matrimonial sites I've noticed people lie about height in general. I'm 6'4" and often see dudes at the gym claim 6'3" when they're barely 6. I say I'm 6' just to mess with them xD

People eat high protein diet now as average incomes are raised. I cringe thinking about diet I had growing up in a vegetarian family. I dont think I had a balanced diet in protein and outside food was rare due to affordability. Panner and stuff was for special occasions etc.

My protein intake increased a lot once I started earning. Our vegetarian diet does not give enough protein. And is high in carbs.

I know a few vegetarian families here in UK who are getting their kids to eat eggs now ... because thankfully understand that protein in diet is very important.
I also had friends who are vegetarians who used to eat lots of spinach, mushrooms, dal (lentils), milk for his protein intake.
Tofu is also major source of protein but unfortunately if not made properly, it tastes like shoe !!
