The future of electrified motorsport is looking good! During DTM Norisring powered by BWT, ITR GmbH together with series’ partners Schaeffler and MAHLE presented the next step towards DTM Electric. The DTM Electric Design Model is a 1:1 model of the prototype for the race series that is currently being developed and shows what the DTM Electric cars will look like. Of course, participants in DTM Electric will have the possibility to adapt the chassis with their specific design characteristics.

電動(dòng)賽車(chē)的未來(lái)一片光明！DTM純電化的下一步已經(jīng)邁出。在今年收官站諾里斯林，ITR，舍弗勒，以及馬勒共同向外界展示了目前的開(kāi)發(fā)成果。此次亮相的“賽車(chē)”，為未來(lái)即將投入使用的原型車(chē)的1:1模型，這給了車(chē)迷們一個(gè)好機(jī)會(huì)，得以一窺目前尚在開(kāi)發(fā)中的賽車(chē)的真容。當(dāng)然，未來(lái)的賽事參與者依舊可以在統(tǒng)一的底盤(pán)上搭載那些自己獨(dú)有的設(shè)計(jì)。

The DTM Electric Design Model is the next big step after the presentation of the DTM Electric Demo Car at Hockenheim in November 2020 that demonstrated the technical basis of the futuristic race series. Over 1,000 horsepower and top speeds of well over 300 km/h will provide an electrifying motorsport experience in future as DTM Electric shows sustainable racing at the highest level with help from strong partners like DTM Electric pioneer Schaeffler and MAHLE.

這次的DTM純電設(shè)計(jì)模型，是自從去年11月，霍根海姆收官站的演示車(chē)后的又一大進(jìn)步。去年的試跑向大家說(shuō)明了賽事未來(lái)的技術(shù)規(guī)則基礎(chǔ)：超過(guò)1000馬力，輕而易舉突破300km/h，DTM將在未來(lái)帶來(lái)電光火石般的競(jìng)速體驗(yàn)，同時(shí)確保能源的可持續(xù)利用。

DTM boss Gerhard Berger is also delighted about the next step on the way towards DTM Electric: “Development for DTM Electric is in full swing and we are proud of being able to present the next step with the DTM Electric Design Model. The looks of the car express our vision of a fully electrified high-performance race series: futuristic, aerodynamically efficient, innovative and sporty to the core.”

DTM賽事CEO，傳奇車(chē)手杰哈德·博格同樣對(duì)目前的成果感到雀躍不已：“純電賽車(chē)的開(kāi)發(fā)有條不紊，我們很自豪能夠向車(chē)迷們展示這輛設(shè)計(jì)模型車(chē)。車(chē)的外形詮釋了我們作為全電，高水準(zhǔn)賽事的愿景——未來(lái)感，氣動(dòng)感，創(chuàng)新性，以及骨子里的競(jìng)技魅力。”
