ALGS year 3 官宣
Thank you all for your patience. The time has finally come, the announcement for Year 3 of ALGS is live!
You can find the full program announcement at https://ea.com/games/apex-legends/compete/news/algs-year3-announcement, but here’s an overview of what you can expect:
- The four online Preseason Qualifier tournaments will take place on October 8-10, October 15-17, October 22-24, and October 29-31, 2022
- Split 1 of the Pro League will kick off on Sunday, November 6th
- Split 1 of the Challenger Circuit will begin on Saturday, November 19th
- 30 Teams in each region’s Pro League
- Regional Finals to cap each of the two Regular Season Splits
- 3 Live Events and $5,000,000 USD in prize money
With the addition of the new Regional Finals, we wanted to clarify that this is a part of the Regular Season and will award Regular Season Points, the same as each of the previous Regular Season series. In addition, ?the team that wins the Regional Finals will qualify for the Playoffs, regardless of their Regular Season point total.
In short, teams will earn points in the Regional Finals equivalent to what they earn on the other Regular Season days, and that qualification for the Playoffs is based on teams' total points across 7 series, the initial 6 plus the Regional Finals series.
