Some people think that parents should read or tell stories to their children,

while others argue that other source of stories, such as books, televisions and films, are better for children.

Discuss both these view and give your own opinion.

In a world where home schooling is getting increasingly important, the way how kids are educated has raised people’s attention. While others declare that parents are supposed to tell stories to their children .My view, however, on the contrary, is that parents had better not totally replace other resources.

People who are in favor of parents involving in teaching base their ground on the fact that even though children have the ability to understand stories by themselves , they are not up to the level as their parents do. If parents can elaborate stories for their kids, children can understand the hidden meaning in a better way. Besides, kids have not developed mature personality to distinguish between right and wrong behaviors and this is where they need help from their parents. When telling storis, for example, parents can tell their kids how to behave in proper manners and this is also a perfect occasion where?parental attachment could be strengthened.

However, some parents believed that it is better for kids to learn independently.

kids who are self-driven in reading would behave better in their future academic study compared to those who don't equip this ability. In other words, learning what to read and how to read prepare kids for future school life.

Additionally,?for some scientific-related subjects, such as math, physics, both new media and traditional media could offer kids access to a more vivid and lively learning environment. This is the reason why there is increasing number of such?materials in the market which are welcomed by parents.

Concluding, education has always been a complexity for parents. In order to cultivate children, parents should keep watch on to what extent they can interfere with kids‘ education.
