今天夠好了,明天再來
學(xué)習(xí)工作的策略是克服速勝心理,控制住自己每天只做一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)。在特定的時間,花不超過一小時,做同樣的事情。做完那微不足道的一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)之后,心滿意足地對自己說,“Good enough for today, I'll come back tomorrow.”
為什么這個策略可能有效?

“花不超過一小時”,是這個策略的核心。常常發(fā)生這樣的情況,被一個任務(wù)卡住,一直想把它解決,花了好幾個小時,還是沒有解決。情緒開始苦惱,思維變得僵硬,目光變得呆滯。這個時候,要果斷地承認(rèn)自己無能,果斷地抽離,去做點(diǎn)別的事。這是最佳選擇。否則,會打亂后面的事項(xiàng)。即便任務(wù)進(jìn)展順利,也要在花完這點(diǎn)時間后立刻停止,不要燃盡所有的熱情,為明天的熱情保留一點(diǎn)火種。留點(diǎn)遺憾,才會再來。
在“特定的時間”也是很重要的,因?yàn)檫@會形成節(jié)律(rhythm)。節(jié)律意味著穩(wěn)定。比如,早上 6 點(diǎn)起床,先讀 30 分鐘書;晚上 10 點(diǎn)睡覺, 睡覺前回顧一下今天都做了些什么,天天如此。 地球繞太陽轉(zhuǎn),非常穩(wěn)定,轉(zhuǎn)一圈,365 天,因此,地球上生機(jī)勃勃。
“只做一點(diǎn)點(diǎn),就已經(jīng)足夠好了”,是這個策略的基本假設(shè)。做的這點(diǎn)點(diǎn)會在大腦里留下印記,直到下次學(xué)習(xí)之前,都會在潛意識里面運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)。所以,看上去是只在早上看了 30 分鐘書,但是整個白天這 30 分中書的內(nèi)容都在潛意識里面,一有需要,比較容易調(diào)用出來運(yùn)用。
Good Enough For Today, Come Back Tomorrow
This strategy for learning or work is to overcome the quick-win mentality and control yourself to do only a little bit every day. At a given time, spend no more than an hour doing the same thing every day. After doing that little bit, say to yourself contentedly, "Good enough for today, I'll come back tomorrow."
Why does this strategy work?
"Spend no more than an hour" is the core of this strategy. It often happens that you get stuck with a task and then keep trying to solve it, it takes hours and it is still not solved, emotions begin to be distressed, thinking becomes stiff, eyes become dull. At this point, you must decisively admit your incompetence, decisively withdraw and do something else. This is the best option. Otherwise, it will disrupt the later arrangements. Even if the task goes well, stop as soon as you spend this little time, don't burn out all your enthusiasm, and reserve a little spark for tomorrow's enthusiasm. Leave some anticipation and come again.
It's also important to be at a "specific time" because it creates a rhythm, which means stability. For example, wake up at 6 a.m., read a book for 30 minutes, go to bed at 10 p.m., and review what you did today before you go to bed, every day. The Earth revolves around the Sun, very stable, one revolution, 365 days. Therefore, the Earth is alive.
"Just doing a little, and that's good enough" is the basic assumption of this strategy. Doing this will leave an?imprint in the brain that will work subconsciously until the next study/work session. It seems that I only read the book for 30 minutes in the morning, but the content of the 30-minute reading?remains subconscious in my mind throughout the day, ready to be recalled?and used when needed.
