Standard Reference for Temperature Testing of Automotive Batteri
1、 Temperature test
(1) The battery unit is discharged termination voltage specified in the manufacturer's technical conditions at a current of no less than 11 as specified by the manufacturer. It should be left for 1 hour, and then charged according to the method provided by the manufacturer. After charging, it should be left for 1 hour;
(2) Place the test object in a temperature chamber, with the lithium battery resting at a rate of 5C/min, from the test environment temperature of 22 ℃± 5 ℃ to 130 ℃+2 ℃, and maintain this temperature for 30 minutes before stopping heating. For the nickel hydrogen battery monomer, the temperature chamber should rise from the test environment temperature of 22 ℃+5 ℃ to 85 ℃+2 ℃ at a rate of 5 ℃/min, and maintain this temperature for 2 hours before stopping heating;
(3) After completing the above test steps, observe for 1 hour at the test temperature.
2、 Temperature cycling test?
(1) The battery unit is discharged termination voltage specified in the manufacturer's technical conditions at a current of no less than 11 as specified by the manufacturer. It should be left for 1 hour, and then charged according to the method provided by the manufacturer. After charging, it should be left for 1 hour;
(2) Place the test object in a temperature chamber and perform one cycle of temperature cycling in the following order, with a total of 5 cycles;
① Place the test object in a high and low temperature test chamber, reduce the temperature from 25 ℃ to -40 ℃ for 60 minutes, and the cooling rate is 13/12 ℃/min;
② The test object is kept in a temperature test chamber at -40 ° C for another 90 minutes;
③ The temperature of the test chamber rises to 25 ° C for 60 minutes, with a heating rate of 13/12 ℃/min;
④ The temperature of the test chamber continued to rise to 85 ° C for 90 minutes, with a heating rate of 2/3℃/min;
⑤ Keep the test object in a high and low temperature test chamber at 85 ℃ for another 110 minutes;
⑥ The temperature of the test chamber drops to 25 ° C for 70 minutes, with a cooling rate of 6/7 ℃/min
(3) After completing the above test steps, observe for 1 hour at the test temperature.
3、Thermal shock test chamber
(1) Place the test object in an alternating temperature environment between (-40 ℃+2 ℃) and (60 ℃ ± 2 ℃), with a transition time between the two extreme temperatures within 30 minutes. Maintain the test object in each extreme temperature environment for 8 hours and cycle 5 times;
(2) After completing the above test steps, observe for 2 hours at the test ambient temperature.
