[成龍歷險記|西玉|全英]天行不息 10 Legend of the Dragon

Jackie Chan and others visited tourist attractions such as Mount Fuji. Mother and Uncle quarreled constantly along the way. After saying goodbye to Mother, the other five flew to Forsa.
“Alas, this time no one quarrels with me.” Uncle was a bit lost.
“It’s been 40 years that Uncle did not come to Forsa. In my memory, Forsa was a place with splendid mountains, beautiful rivers, mild climate, and most importantly, authentic Chinese culture!” It seemed that Uncle was excited.
“As for splendid mountains, when shall we go to Mount Jade?” Hsi Wu was always wanting to visit high places.
“Mount Jade? You mean the mountain set up for me?” Jade said.
“Apparently, you’re poor in geography. Mount Jade is the highest mountain in Forsa,” said Hsi Wu.
“No! Hang out here with Uncle first. Do you see the square ahead? Uncle used to perform drama here.” Uncle said, smiling.
An old gentleman in a long gown walked by at this time.
“You are…Wing!”
“You’re Chan!” The old gentleman also recognized Uncle.
Uncle and Mr. Wing held each other’s hands tightly.
“Wing, haven’t seen you for 40 years! We used to learn drama together but you suddenly got addicted to Chi magic at that time so we went on our respective ways,” said Mr. Wing.
“I chose this road and look back, it’s also difficult. Wing, how are you doing?”
“Alas, a kind of Frog Monster appeared in Forsa, who can turn humans into frogs to be his servants. His ultimate aim is to turn all the Forsa people into frogs!” On saying this, tears filled Mr. Wing’s face.
“Wow, this kind of strange monster…I’d like to see,” said Jade.
“Jade, this is dangerous!” Jackie said.
“I heard about Frog Monster. It appeared when the civilization was in a dark period and the history was falsified. It has appeared from time to time all over the world ever since history began. Sir, is Forsa in such a situation now?” Hsi Wu said.
“Indeed. Even before the appearance of Frog Monster, Forsa has been in a mess,” said Wing. “Chan, everybody, you don’t know that these years everything in Forsa has changed. The Palace Museum was disbanded, all the cultural relics of which were sold, and our troupe with Chinese characteristics is forbidden to perform dramas now!”
On hearing this, sorrow filled Uncle’s face. He not only felt sorry for his old friend but also felt sad for this land.
“Then do you know the way to deal with Frog Monster, Hsi Wu?” Jackie asked.
“I don’t know exactly. We need to do research. But the good news is since the monster appears in Forsa, it can only turn Forsa people into frogs and can’t harm us,” Hsi Wu said.
Listening to Hsi Wu, Uncle was somewhat lost. It was Tohru who knew they should use onions to defeat Tarakudo last time in Japan, and he did not hear of Frog Monster this time either.
“Chan, are these all your families?” asked Mr. Wing.
Uncle said with a smile. “This is Jackie Chan, my nephew. This is Jade Chan, my beloved grandniece. This is Tohru, my magic apprentice. This is Hsi Wu, he’s…” On saying this, Uncle suddenly frowned.
“I’m Jade’s friend.”
“Oh, welcome. I’ll arrange for you to have lunch!”
?
After lunch, the six went to the square again. Hsi Wu insisted on having a look at an ancient Chinese building aside. “Books for defeating Frog Monster might be preserved in that building,” said Hsi Wu.
“Humph! Magic books should be found in the library!” Uncle deliberately disobey Hsi Wu, but his two legs still followed Hsi Wu to the ancient building. After all, he knew nothing about Frog Monster.
The six came to the front of the building, on the plaque of which were four Chinese characters of Lishu Script, which means “Ancestral Hall of Zheng”.
Hsi Wu searched for each corner. Seeing there were many positions where books might be preserved, he flew up to have a look.
“Chan! This friend of your grandniece’s can fly! The wings were conjured by you with magic?”
“To tell the truth, he is a demon. Uncle won’t teach him magic at all!” Uncle said.
“Chan! You’re joking, aren’t you? There has been a Frog Monster in Forsa, how could you add one more demon here?” Wing said.
“It might be a good thing to have one more demon. Demons must defeat demons.” Uncle was suddenly complacent.
“I find it!” Hsi Wu flew to the floor with a book.
Suddenly, Frog Monster came to the square, on which citizens were hurried to escape. He emitted beams of light and the people being irradiated turned into frogs.
A beam of light hit the building. Only to see Mr. Wing and several other local visitors turned into frogs.
“Quack! Quack!” Mr. Wing and several other Forsamen wanted to jump out to serve their master, Frog Monster, but were caught by Uncle, Jade and Tohru immediately.
“Hsi Wu, quickly find in the book. How could we turn Mr. Wing back?”
“Just use your Dried Salamander and Dried Puffer Fish, and say your spell.”
Uncle said the spell and Wing and other locals recovered.
“But even if they turn back to humans, they will lose certain memories unless Frog Monster is completely defeated.” Hsi Wu went on to read.
“Aiiee-yaahh, Wing, do you still remember me?”
“You are Chan.”
“Do you remember how many years haven’t we seen each other?”
“Forty years.”
“I suppose he did not lose memories at all.” Uncle smiled.
“Frog Monster will release ultimate power at 14:00, July 2, which will turn all Forsa People into frogs. Can never turn back to humans!” Hsi Wu read the scaring descriptions.
“Oops! 14:00, July 2! Seven minutes later!” Jackie Chan had a look at his watch.
“Defeating the Frog Monster needs to play a Forsa song with Chinese traditional musical instrument and needs the token, National Flag of China.” Hsi Wu finished reading the book.
Suddenly, the Frog Monster stretched his head into the building. “You are flipping my book!” He emitted light toward everyone.
“Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao.”
“Tian Xing Jian Jun Zi Yi Zi Qiang Bu Xi.”
Uncle and Hsi Wu recited the spell and cast magic simultaneously, blocking Frog Monster’s light and beating him to the square.
“You master magic! But everything you do will be in vain. You cannot prevent the whole island from becoming the world of frogs!” Frog Monster stood up from the ground, laughing. “You wanna find so-called Chinese musical instruments? No Chinese musical instruments in Forsa now! All Chinese elements in Forsa have been destroyed! Hahaha!”
“But Uncle has this!” Uncle took out a flute, sparkling. It turned out that Uncle was not sure whether Hsi Wu still feared the flute or not so he took it when they left San Francisco as insurance.
“But where could we find the National Flag of China. All Chinese elements in Forsa have been destroyed,” said Tohru.
“Seymour, can you fetch the national flag in Fuzhou and then come back?” Jade asked.
“Five hundred kilometers in five minutes. I…I can’t fly as fast as a missile.”
“Let Uncle have a look at the magic book!” Uncle snatched the book from Hsi Wu.
Wearing reading glasses, Uncle turned the book over and over.
“Hurry! Uncle! The ultimate frogization is coming!” Jackie was so anxious that his voice trembled.
“Aha! You young people are always so careless in reading books. You see, what the book says is ‘National Flag of China (present or past)’!” Uncle said complacently, eyes narrowing. It turned out that His Wu did not see the words in brackets on the last page due to typographical issues.
Hsi Wu snickered in his heart that when comparing age, don’t know who is the young people.
“But sensei, does this matter?” Tohru was confused.
“Of course!” Uncle said, pointing at the flag waving above the square.
“I see.” Jackie Chan suddenly understood.
“Impossible! Chan, that’s impossible! That’s never been the National Flag of China.” Wing and the other locals felt extremely astonished.
“Forget that Frog Monster would make you lose certain memories?” Jade said.
Hsi Wu spread the wings immediately and flew above the ground. Seeing this, Frog Monster emitted beams of light toward Hsi Wu, which could not hurt him.
Hsi Wu flew to the top of the flagpole and took the flag, seized it tightly, and flew back to the front of the building. Jade took over the flag and Jackie took over the flute from Uncle. He blew:
There is a river in distant east, whose name is the Yangtze
There is a river in distant east, whose name is the Yellow River
Wing and other locals felt amazed because they did not remember this was a song of Forsa. Hsi Wu also covered his ears subconsciously. Although he was not afraid of the flute anymore, the horror of thousands of years made him have the habitual action.
The flag in Jade’s hands floated and generated four flags including itself. The one closest to the building had a golden dragon on it and the second one was made up of five bands of different colors. The one in Jade’s hands was the third, and the fourth closest to the square emitted a beam of strong red light, hitting Frog Monster.
“No!” Frog Monster shouted and disappeared with a wisp of green smoke left. All the Forsa people turned into frogs by him also recovered to humans.
“Oh, I remember that this is a Forsa’s song!” Wing said and sang along with Jackie’s flute. All the people in the square also followed gradually:
Although never seen the beauty of Yangtze, always dream of swimming in it.
……
The giant dragon, you brighten your eyes, forever brighten your eyes
Hsi Wu took his hands off his ears, listening to the flute. The Yangtze and the Yellow River. That was also his hometown thousands of years ago, these also flooded into his dreams from time to time during the tens of centuries.
Jackie finished playing the flute and the people on the ground waved their arms, many of whom had tears of excitement in their eyes.
“Chan, I’ll be busy with my work not too long after so can’t travel with you. Now I will reconstruct my troupe, I will devote all the rest of my life to Chinese drama.” Wing held tightly Uncle’s hands, saying farewell to each other.
“Well, Wing, I hope it will not be another forty years before we meet again.”
