The High Priestess
The High Priestess
I am keeper of the secret,
the arcane and the rare.
l am knower of the ancient,
and a force to beware.
Like the sea, surface calm,
as below a storm rages
deceiving the fools,the kings,
and the sages.
lalone see the truth
in that raging storm
as I?stand before it
untethered, unworn.
The High Priestess sits upon the
threshold of the conscious and
subconscious mind as the bearer of
ancient wisdoms. As such, she holds a
pomegranate over her head to signify
fertility ofmind.The crescent moon
sinking beneath her tentacles further
illustrates her effortless dominion over
the realms of both dreams and dread.
Her shadow however contains hidden
agendas and represents the need to
listen to one's intuition more closely
