Develop and enforce regulations

When Congress writes an environmental law, we implement it by writing regulations. Often, we set national standards that states and tribes enforce through their own regulations. If they fail to meet the national standards, we can help them. We also enforce our regulations, and help companies understand the requirements.

雖然EPA對產(chǎn)品的有效性報(bào)告不做要求，但是EPA會(huì)定期檢查產(chǎn)品的標(biāo)簽，因此廠家需要按照EPA的要求進(jìn)行標(biāo)簽的設(shè)計(jì)。另外EPA還要求申請人在獲得注冊碼30天完成上一年度的銷量報(bào)告，并從第二年起，每年的3月份之前都需要完成年報(bào)。

關(guān)于標(biāo)簽要求，制造商必須在包裝、說明書等顯眼的地方，施加殺蟲滅菌產(chǎn)品標(biāo)簽，標(biāo)簽必須標(biāo)明產(chǎn)品符合EPA要求，并標(biāo)明EPA Establishment Number。同時(shí)，對產(chǎn)品的性能進(jìn)行嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)正確的宣稱。另外，產(chǎn)品上嚴(yán)禁使用任何可能誤導(dǎo)或欺騙性質(zhì)的語句、格式和圖示，任何有效信息必須予以標(biāo)明，嚴(yán)禁仿造或者冒用其他產(chǎn)品的名稱。
