What is life without love?
One can be free,
and also imprisoned.
One can be wild, good, and evil,
and also bewildered.
One can think like a giant,
and look wise.
But one cannot deny the trembles,
when he sees hearts collide.
?
What is all the turmoil, struggle, and loneliness,
what is all the war, peace, and cease-fire,
and what is the flickering of a lifetime,
when one has to live on without love?
?
I can take more,
willing to give more,
willing to take less,
willing to sacrifice.
For I have come to realize
the once forsaken love
is the only thing
worth living for.
?
I shall be shredded
in the blades of words.
I shall be scorched
in the torching beams of watch.
I shall be drained
in the vastness of a desert.
I shall be smothered
in the depth of the cosmic smog.
And don’t forget to have my voice stripped,
my figure distorted and erased.
For why would I even give a care,
if a life without love
eventually takes all.
