【中英文演講稿】

1、愛上量子物理

Outside of skiing I am a huge nerd. I am currently a freshman in college, and I'm taking a lot of classes that are really interesting to me. One of them is quantum physics.

除了賽場滑雪，我就是個超級書呆子。我現(xiàn)在是大學(xué)一年級的學(xué)生，我選了很多對我來說很有趣的課。其中之一是量子物理學(xué)。

I really like to learn and to stretch my mind. That's what I really love about quantum physics, is that it's very conceptual and it makes the nature of reality. And that's very fascinating to me because, in my own way when I'm skiing, I guess I'm bending the laws of what's possible in the first place. So achieving the impossible has always been something that is has drawn me in. And so that's kind of where I see the parallel between quantum physics and skiing.?

我真的很喜歡通過學(xué)習(xí)來拓展我的思維。這就是我真正喜歡量子物理學(xué)的地方，因為這個科目非常的抽象，會令你想思考現(xiàn)實的本質(zhì)。這對我來說非常有吸引力，因為當(dāng)我滑雪時，我從一開始就在朝著突破自然規(guī)律的方向前進。因此，實現(xiàn)不可能的事情一直吸引著我。這就是我在量子物理學(xué)和滑雪中找到的共同點。

2、平衡工作學(xué)習(xí)

I've been a full-time student my whole life. But going back to being a full-time student after taking two years to be a professional skier is definitely a new step for me, so I guess just adjusting to working three full-time jobs always?

year-round between fashion, school and skiing……

我一直是全日制學(xué)生。但是，在做了兩年專業(yè)滑雪運動員后，重拾全日制學(xué)生的生活，對我來說絕對是全新的一步，我全年的時間安排，圍繞著時尚、學(xué)業(yè)和滑雪……這三個全職生活角色，不停調(diào)整。

I think being in college right now is giving me a lot of perspective just kind of going back into the real world, and that has just been so much fun. So I guess just enjoying myself, taking it one step at a time. It sounds a little boring, but I guess this is true.

我認(rèn)為現(xiàn)在在大學(xué)里給了我很多視角，更接近真實的世界，這非常有趣。所以我想我在享受這一切，一步一個腳印去適應(yīng)新的狀況。這聽起來有點無聊，但真實生活就是這樣的。

I’ve always been a huge proponent of living a balanced lifestyle, so now I am really channeling my creativity and my self-expression through skiing, through fashion, through academics.

作為一個堅定的生活平衡論實踐者，我力求通過滑雪、時尚和學(xué)業(yè)，來體現(xiàn)我的創(chuàng)造力，并進行真實的自我表達(dá)。

3、媽媽是榜樣

My mom really inspired me growing up, and I guess it was more her capacity to make things happen that inspired me in the sense that everybody can say that they have a lofty goal or a seemingly unreachable ambition.

我媽媽絕對是我成長路上上最好的榜樣，我想最令人佩服的是她強大的執(zhí)行力。雖然每個人都可以高談闊論自己的遠(yuǎn)大理想。

But being able to put your head down and create an actual? action plan and being able to work towards it each and every day is 90per cent of the actual battle.?

但腳踏實地地制定出可行的計劃，并且日復(fù)一日毫不間斷的付諸實踐，這才是整場戰(zhàn)斗的90%。

So I think that her capacity to do that has always been really inspiring to me and something that I carry with me to this day.

正是她這種超強的執(zhí)行力，不停激勵著我，陪伴著我，直到今天。

學(xué)習(xí)和體育相通

I think that just having an educational background and being able to apply that knowledge to anything, learning how you learn, learning how to perform under pressure, learning about how your mind works.

我認(rèn)為良好的教育可以讓你把自己的知識應(yīng)用于各個方面，找到屬于自己的學(xué)習(xí)方法，如何在壓力下發(fā)揮，掌握自己思維意識的運作原理。

I think these are all widely applicable skills, no matter what avenue you choose to apply it in. So, yeah, I think that there are many cross references and ways in which learning and sport are interconnected.?

我認(rèn)為這些都是廣泛適用的技能，無論你選擇哪種途徑應(yīng)用它。所以，是的，我認(rèn)為學(xué)習(xí)和體育的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系很深，之間有很多可以相互借鑒的方法。
