學(xué)院簡介

波士頓音樂學(xué)院真正成立是在1867年，是美國最古老的藝術(shù)院校，提供舞蹈、音樂和戲劇方面的課程。自創(chuàng)立伊始，學(xué)院已經(jīng)培養(yǎng)了眾多年輕優(yōu)秀的表演藝術(shù)家。學(xué)院以多學(xué)科環(huán)境和深入社區(qū)參與而聞名，它在國際上被認(rèn)為是藝術(shù)學(xué)院項(xiàng)目中的創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者，致力于提升表演藝術(shù)的各個方面。憑借著每年700多場演出和其開創(chuàng)性的理念，波士頓音樂學(xué)院已經(jīng)確立了在藝術(shù)領(lǐng)域的重要地位。

申請表、護(hù)照或身份證復(fù)印件、個人藝術(shù)簡歷、兩封推薦信（一封藝術(shù)推薦信，一封學(xué)術(shù)推薦信）、在校成績單（須經(jīng)波士頓音樂學(xué)院指定的機(jī)構(gòu)評估）、作品集、申請費(fèi)150美元等。

作品集要求

鋼琴

· A prelude and fugue from the Well-Tempered Clavier or another work by Bach that includes a fugue
· A complete sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, or Schubert
· A major work for solo piano from the Romantic Era (including Rachmaninoff)
· A solo piano piece from the second half of the 20th or 21st century
· One virtuosic etude, such as those by Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, or Ligeti

聲樂

· All works are to be performed from memory
· Three art songs:One in ItalianOne in French or GermanOne in English (not in translation)
· No operatic arias, please

作曲

· Applicants to the B.M. in composition should submit a portfolio consisting of two to four recent works (no more) which were written in the last three years, at least one of which must be for two or more instruments.
· Scores should be legibly notated (by hand or by computer).
· Recordings of performances of your works, if available, are encouraged. Good quality midi is acceptable.

· Include an accompanying score for each submitted recording.
· Write a short essay describing your musical influences and areas of interest and what you hope to achieve as a composer.
