“The Sound” has all the hallmarks of a great?1975?song: a sticky chorus, bouncing neon synths, Matty Healy name-dropping Greek philosophers and promptly calling himself a cliché. It’s fun and clever and anthemic while taking the piss out of big anthems at the same time.
