考慮自己的研究投稿到哪個(gè)期刊最合適是一件頭等大事。投稿之前的規(guī)劃既有助于確保自己的研究結(jié)果可以惠及最能受益的讀者，又能避免作者投稿至不適合的期刊而浪費(fèi)時(shí)間。

如果不確定自己的研究是否屬于某個(gè)期刊的出版范圍，那么可以在正式投稿前先給期刊寫一封咨詢信（presubmission inquiry）。

什么是投稿前咨詢？

投稿前咨詢，就是作者在投稿前向期刊發(fā)送的詢問信，目的是獲得學(xué)術(shù)期刊的意見，確認(rèn)自己的稿件是否適合這個(gè)期刊。形式可以是電子郵件，也可以通過登錄在線投稿平臺(tái)填寫的表單。

投稿前咨詢期刊回復(fù)的通常都很及時(shí)，一般只需要2-5天，這樣有助于作者安排準(zhǔn)備稿件的時(shí)間，將論文投給最適合的期刊和讀者。

和正式投稿不同，投稿前咨詢可以一次性發(fā)送給幾個(gè)期刊。發(fā)送投稿前咨詢信，不會(huì)影響正式投稿后期刊對(duì)稿件的審理。

如何遞交投稿前咨詢？

不同期刊對(duì)投稿前咨詢的接受情況也不同，有些期刊甚至不接受投稿前咨詢。所以，作者應(yīng)該首先訪問目標(biāo)期刊的作者投稿指南頁面（Information for Authors），了解期刊的流程。

現(xiàn)在不少期刊提供在線表單，供作者填寫投稿前咨詢。這時(shí)作者只需要填寫稿件的相關(guān)必填項(xiàng)即可。如果沒有提供表單，期刊也會(huì)給出說明，指導(dǎo)作者通過郵件發(fā)送投稿前咨詢，以及咨詢郵件中必須包含的事項(xiàng)。

期刊每天可能會(huì)收到好幾條投稿前咨詢，期刊編輯的工作又十分繁忙，所以為確保編輯部能輕松處理你的咨詢，咨詢的內(nèi)容應(yīng)當(dāng)簡明扼要，包含能夠用來評(píng)估稿件契合度的關(guān)鍵信息。

具體可參考下列注意事項(xiàng)，并下載本文末提供的模板。

需要包含在咨詢中的內(nèi)容有：

?通訊作者（corresponding author）的全名和聯(lián)系方式；

?文章類型（article type）：如綜述（review）、原創(chuàng)性研究（original research article）、致信（letter）、案例研究（case study）等等；

?論文標(biāo)題（或暫定的標(biāo)題）；

?論文的摘要或概述：要囊括這篇文章的研究背景或動(dòng)機(jī)、問題陳述（problem statement）、方法、結(jié)果和影響，最好不要超過250個(gè)英文單詞（關(guān)于如何撰寫摘要，請看此文）；

?說明該研究對(duì)期刊讀者有何意義。

如果期刊沒有提及，那么下面幾條不要放在咨詢中：

?不要附上稿件全文；

?不要提供圖片表格文件；

?不要加入?yún)⒖嘉墨I(xiàn)列表；

?不要放上作者的簡歷和CV。

總結(jié)一下：首先訪問目標(biāo)期刊的官方網(wǎng)址。如果期刊提供在線遞交投稿前咨詢的表單，直接填寫即可。如果沒有提供，就在期刊網(wǎng)站上找到用于咨詢服務(wù)的郵箱地址，寫信向主編（Editor-in-Chief）咨詢。
