其實(shí)，歐洲博士和博后項(xiàng)目以其極高的薪資待遇著稱，如果可以拿到工作合同，讀博工資在當(dāng)?shù)匾褜僦挟a(chǎn)，并享受一切相關(guān)福利，畢業(yè)后不久即可申請(qǐng)當(dāng)?shù)赜谰踊蛞泼瘛Ｉ暾?qǐng)歐洲讀博通常需要碩士學(xué)位，一般不需要GRE也無(wú)需當(dāng)?shù)卣Z(yǔ)言，有雅思或托福成績(jī)即可申請(qǐng)，套磁是申請(qǐng)的關(guān)鍵。

招生概覽

Dr. Andi Wang will join The Polytechnic School of Arizona State University as an assistant professor starting from Fall 2021. He is now recruiting motivated Ph.D. students focused on industrial data analysis, machine learning for engineering applications, and data-driven modeling for complex systems, starting Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.

Students will enroll in the Ph.D. program in systems engineering at The Polytechnic School of Arizona State University. Financial support will be provided.

1. B.S. or M.S. degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, or equivalent;

2. Programming skills in Python, R, or MATLAB;

3. Solid foundation in mathematics (linear algebra and calculus);

4. Experience with machine learning, or related subjects like statistics, optimization, signal processing, and automatic control;

5. International students need to meet the English proficiency requirement.

The research team of the LIMOS Lab, located in Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne is seeking for a candidate for a 3-years PhD thesis contract.

The research topic is " Multi-level healthcare capacity planning and scheduling in the context of a major epidemy"

The main scientific field is Operations Research.

課題概覽

This research is funded by the PhD scholarship program CNRS-MODCOV19 (https://modcov19.math.cnrs.fr).

The goal consists in developing methods and software tools for managing relevant healthcare resources depending on the evolution et the forecast of the epidemy. Four operation decisions are considered:

1.Design of the epidemy response healthcare network for a territory.

2.Dynamic planning/scheduling of major resources such as ICU and hospitalization beds.

3. Routing of patients in the healthcare network.

4. Optimization of elective care cancelling/postponing.

申請(qǐng)要求

The candidate holds master degree or equivalent in computer science, industrial engineering or applied mathematics. Solid competencies are expected in operations research (mathematical modelling, optimization), in industrial engineering (enterprise modelling, discrete event simulation, performance evaluation) and in computer science (good coding skills, good knowledge in software tools in statistics, optimization). The candidate is enthusiastic, hard worker, autonomous and curious for healthcare research. The candidate is also expected to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
