躲在水中和巖石下的數(shù)碼獸，一動(dòng)不動(dòng)停留在原地，不怎么活躍地來(lái)回動(dòng)。有攻擊接近者的習(xí)性，但這絕對(duì)不是好戰(zhàn)，只要不靠近就不會(huì)受到攻擊。一旦溫度超過(guò)30℃就會(huì)異常繁殖，所以到了夏天，經(jīng)常能看到刺針獸會(huì)密密麻麻地互相擠滿(mǎn)在湖泊和巖石等地，常常來(lái)喝水的數(shù)碼獸會(huì)受到攻擊。犧牲身體的「最終刺針獸」正如其名，是跟敵人一起爆炸，刺針獸的最終必殺技。
