appear 出現(xiàn) 露面

例句：Li Ming didn't appear until eight o'clock.

李明直到八點(diǎn)才露面。

出現(xiàn)在舞臺上面

disappear 消失

became 開始變得 變成

通常做系動詞來講，后可跟形容詞,名詞，作表語

例句：They become good friends.

rich 富有的

Jim bacame very rich when he was young.

吉姆在他年輕的時候變得很富有。

a rich man 一個富有的男人 ? ?a rich family一個富裕的家庭

successful 成功的

例句：My uncle is a successful person.

我的叔叔是一個成功人士。

might 可能 可以

Li ming said I might use his bike.

李明說我可以用他的自行車。

情態(tài)動詞四可能：

can ? could ? may ?might（注意: can 不可以用在肯定句當(dāng)中，疑問句當(dāng)中不能用may）

ready 愿意的 準(zhǔn)備好的

be ready to do sth.

愿意做某事/準(zhǔn)備好做某事

例句:Lily is ready to clean the house.

莉莉已經(jīng)準(zhǔn)備好打掃這個房子了。

try one’s best盡力 竭盡全力

try one's best to do sth.某人盡力做某事。

動詞不定式作賓語

后接動詞不定式作賓語：plan ? learn ? decide ? ?hope/wish ? ?begin/start ? ? prefer

afford ? ecpect ? promise agree ?refuse

stop doing sth.停止做某事

stop to do sth.停下來去做另一件事

forget doing sth.忘了做過某事（已做）

forget to do sth.忘了去做某事（未做）

remember doing sth.記得做過某事（已做）

remember to do sth.記得去做某事（未做 ）
