Jill: But it would've been easier if you'd just said what you needed in your drink.
?
*Kira* Miki: Oh, I'll keep it in mind.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Hmhm...
?
*Kira* Miki: Hey, is this glass important?
?
Jill: Depends on why you're asking.
?
*Kira* Miki: Do you want me to sign it?
?
Jill: Oh. Sure, I guess?
?
*Kira* Miki: No guessing! Are you sure or not?
?
Jill: Yeah. Do as you please.
?
*Kira* Miki: Okay, then. Who should I make it out to?
?
Jill: (Maybe for my boss? I wonder if Gil would like it though.)
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Your name, girl!
?
Jill: Oh! For Jill then.
?
*Kira* Miki:“致Jill。 *Kira* Miki贈(zèng)?!?/span>
*Kira* Miki: "For Jill. Never lose your star. From *Kira* Miki."

Jill:
Jill: Oh, that's a pretty autograph.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Thanks!
?
Jill: No, thank you.
Jill: So, tell me more about this concert of yours.
?
*Kira* Miki: Well, we're promoting my new single. It's called Shine Spark.
?
*Kira* Miki:話(huà)雖如此,但歌迷渴望聽(tīng)到的仍然是我以前的單曲“Your Love Is a Drug”。
*Kira* Miki: I say that, but people still look forward to my old single, "Your Love Is a Drug".
?
*Kira* Miki: I'm worried I might become a one-note star, you know?
?
*Kira* Miki: *ahem* Anyways, the tour is called Shining Star and we've been traveling the whole continent.
?
*Kira* Miki: We sold out of tickets fast! So we decided to give an encore concert after all others are done.
?
Jill: Ah, nice.
?
*Kira* Miki: But I'm not gonna bore you with details you'll find in tomorrow's newspapers anyways.
?
*Kira* Miki: I got this awesome dress that looks all cat-like.
?
*Kira* Miki: My hairdresser, Agnes, came up with a hairstyle that makes me look like I have cat ears and all!
?
Jill: What do cats have to do with stars?
?
*Kira* Miki: Nothing! I just like cats.
?
*Kira* Miki: My producer suggested a bunny though.
?
Jill:
Jill: I see...
?
*Kira* Miki: You know, if I hadn't ended up on stage singing, I'd probably be the one planning the pyrotechnics.
?
*Kira* Miki: When you enter the stage and the sparks start flying... that's magical, you know?
?
Jill: You've never burned yourself with those fireworks? I've heard ugly stories from other musicians.
?
*Kira* Miki: No, not yet. I singed my hair once, but I just went for something short for a bit.
?
*Kira* Miki: People seemed to love it. I should go back to it sometime.
?
Jill: (Um... how do Lilim get longer hair?)

Jill: I'm guessing someone with as many fans as you has their fair share of stalkers, right?
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Well, there are two kinds of people that obsess over me.
?
*Kira* Miki: There are the shy ones that follow me everywhere, hiding just out of sight.
?
*Kira* Miki: And then there's my fanclub.
?
Jill:
Jill: What's the difference between them?
?
*Kira* Miki: The fanclub follows me around a lot too, but they usually keep a distance.
?
*Kira* Miki: Actually, I think they're outside waiting for me right now.
?
Jill:
Jill: I-I see...
?
*Kira* Miki: They're also very organized. They'd make pretty good soldiers.
?
*Kira* Miki: The others, the stalkers, are a bit sneakier and don't act in groups.
?
Jill:
Jill: I'm guessing those stalkers must be bothersome, huh...
?
*Kira* Miki: Actually, they're not that bad.
?
*Kira* Miki: Stalkers are nice when you get used to them.
?
*Kira* Miki: I remember one once protected me from being mugged.
?
*Kira* Miki: There's another that breaks into my house once a week to make me breakfast.
?
Jill: (And she fails to see the problem?)
?
*Kira* Miki: I just wish they'd leave my underwear drawer the same way they find it.
?
*Kira* Miki: I take pride in how neatly I organize my underwear, you know?
?
Jill: I take pride in my old liquor collection. I guess it's the same.
?
?/span>
Jill: (No, wait. It isn't!)

*Kira* Miki: Yeah! You get me, Jill.
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Okay, one more drink before I go.
?
*Kira* Miki: By now, the stage should be all organized, so the fallout should have settled.
?
Jill: Isn't it a bit late for a concert?
?
*Kira* Miki: It's part of my gimmick. I always make concerts that go from night till dawn.
?
*Kira* Miki: In this one, I'm supposed to close with a song called Sunshine Stone.
?
*Kira* Miki: If everything goes as planned and the weather forecast is accurate...
?
*Kira* Miki: The sun should come up just as I reach the climax of the song.
?
*Kira* Miki:但如果觀眾要求我唱“Your LoveIs A Drug”作為返場(chǎng)曲的話(huà),我還是會(huì)感到沮喪的。
*Kira* Miki: I'd be depressed if they ask for "Your Love Is A Drug" as an encore though...
?
Jill: That sounds nice.
?
*Kira* Miki: Hey, I need to make people feel their tickets were worth the ridiculous price, you know?
?
*Kira* Miki: Don't you think it sucks to pay for something, only to find out you shouldn't have bothered?
?
Jill: Yeah. One time I bought some expensive coffee in this one cafe...
?
Jill: It tasted like filthy water with cream. I still don't know if it was the coffee or the girl that served it, but it was BAD.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Man, that sucks.
?
*Kira* Miki: Speaking of which, do you have anything bitter? I really need to wake myself up.
?
Jill: Let's see what I can find for you.
?
Jill: Try this.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Yeah, this works.
?
Jill:
Jill: So, how is it?
?
*Kira* Miki: It could be a bit sweeter but it's delicious.
?
Jill: I figured it was for waking you up or something so...
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Really nice, thanks!
Jill: Here.
?
*Kira* Miki: This is good, but it isn't exactly what I needed.
?
Jill:
Jill: And what did you need?
?
*Kira* Miki: Something that'll wake me up, or help me sober up a bit before going back.
?
Jill: You could've said so earlier and I would've fixed you something like that.
?
*Kira* Miki:……
*Kira* Miki: ...the order's still wrong though.
?
Jill: I'm not arguing that.
Jill: I hope you aren't offended by this question, but...
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Hm?
?
Jill: I can see that you enjoy what you do, but how much of it is about the music?
?
*Kira* Miki: I'll let you know that before becoming *Kira* Miki, I was a very accomplished pianist.
?
*Kira* Miki: I had concerts every week and part-timed in bars with a jazz band.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: I still write and compose my own songs!
?
Jill:
Jill: Whoa...
?
Jill:
Jill: Why the change?
?
Jill: Going from jazz and piano to idol...
?
*Kira* Miki: Have you ever thought about the power music has over people?
?
*Kira* Miki: You could argue it's just noise, but it can make you feel a wide range of emotions.
?
*Kira* Miki: And that power is universal. It can transcend language and culture.
?
*Kira* Miki: Being in a jazz band or performing recitals, I can only take that power to so many people.
?
*Kira* Miki: But being an Idol, I can take that power and spread it far and wide!
?
*Kira* Miki: Kids and adults, men and women. They all have access to my music, and I can reach every one of them!
?
Jill:
Jill: Wow...
?
*Kira* Miki: What music do you like, Jill?
?
Jill: I'm not picky, but I do prefer versions with no lyrics.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Why?
?
Jill: I like to listen to music while working, and lyrics distract me.
?
Jill: And besides, it always bothers me when people nonchalantly start singing songs with creepy lyrics.
?
Jill: I think only half of the listeners actually care about what's being said.
?
*Kira* Miki: Oh, that's a bummer.
?
*Kira* Miki: I'd give you a copy of my latest CD, but I don't have any at the moment.
?
Jill:
Jill: Don't worry about it.
Jill: Hey, do you get flowers and that kind of stuff when you do concerts?
?
*Kira* Miki:會(huì)啊!
*Kira* Miki: Yeah! Lots!
?
*Kira* Miki: I once said in an interview that I loved blue roses, so people started sending them to me!
?
Jill: Blue roses? There's such a thing?
?
*Kira* Miki: No, silly. They're just dyed white roses. But they're so pretty!
?
Jill: (You'd think blue roses would be a reality by now.)
?
Jill:
Jill: Any interesting gifts you can remember?
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Let's see...
?
*Kira* Miki: A guy named Danny sent a 1/60th scale chocolate sculpture of me!
?
*Kira* Miki: Her boobs were a bit smaller, though.
?
*Kira* Miki: But... he did request a video of me eating it. I feel kinda guilty for not complying.
?
Jill: Oh. I had a classmate with that same fetish in high school. Lunchtime was awkward.
?
Jill: Wait, no. The fetish had nothing to do with it. He was the awkward one.
?
*Kira* Miki: There was also this girl named Roxanne who sent me an oil painting, canvas and all!
?
*Kira* Miki: It was a rendition of a photo from one of my swimwear photoshoots.
?
*Kira* Miki: It was my favorite shot! Paul, the photographer, caught me while I was adjusting the bikini's top.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: It just looks so natural...
?
*Kira* Miki: Anyway, I still have that painting in my lobby.
?
*Kira* Miki: I'm even considering commissioning Roxanne to do another one!
?
Jill: Something tells me you're one human sacrifice away from being a pagan goddess of sorts.
?
*Kira* Miki: Calling me a goddess won't get you anywhere, you know?
?
*Kira* Miki: You need to be more creative with your flattery.
?
*Kira* Miki: There was an attempt that involved a sacrifice though... but the police solved that one quickly.
?
Jill:
Jill:?I'm surprised?you?remember all?those names.
?
*Kira* Miki: I try to remember as many of my fans' names as possible. I'd be a bad Idol if I didn't.
?
*Kira* Miki:
*Kira* Miki: Okay then, I'm out.
?
Jill!
*Kira* Miki: Thanks for helping me pass the time, Jill!
?
Jill: Sure.
?
Jill: Please come again.
*Kira* Miki: I'll make sure of it!
?
Gillian: Will she be alright?
?
Jill: Yeah, she'll be fine.
?
Gillian: You think she'll come back?
?
Jill: Usually I'd say no, but I honestly don't know.
*Kira* Miki:嘿,Jill。
*Kira* Miki: Hey Jill, have you ever lost your identity?

Jill: I've lost my ID card a couple of times, yeah.
?
*Kira* Miki: No, I mean... your identity. Forgotten who you are.
?
Jill: (What's with the change in expression?!)
?
Jill: N-No, not really...
?
*Kira* Miki: I did.
?
Jill:呃?
Jill: Eh?
?
*Kira* Miki: *Kira* Miki is just an artist name.
?
*Kira* Miki: At first, it was hard for me to play the part, you know?
?
*Kira* Miki: But I gained so much satisfaction from the concerts that I decided to invest myself.
?
*Kira* Miki:……
*Kira* Miki: ...and I overdid it.
?
Jill: How so?
?
*Kira* Miki: I became so invested in the character that I forgot who I was.
?
*Kira* Miki: Who was I before I became *Kira* Miki? What did I like?
?

*Kira* Miki: People need something to cling to, and for many I'm that thing.
?
Jill:
Jill: You are?
?
*Kira* Miki: During my concerts, they stop being themselves for 4 hours.
?

*Kira* Miki: Thanking me for that single moment where they can be hAppy.

Jill: She did a few variety shows with her jazz band but went solo afterwards.
?
Gillian: What was all that talk then?
?
Jill: She was drunk and she was a very... peculiar drunk.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: Figures.
?
Gillian: Still quite the motivational performer, though.

Jill: Nah, I don't think so. I don't have tickets anyway.
?
Jill: Hey, Boss. Does the name "Red Comet" ring any bells?
?
Dana: Why, that was my moniker during my wrestling days.
?
Jill:你的……什么?
Jill: Your... huh?
?
Dana: That's what they called me during my time in the Grand Slam Fighters.
?
Dana: They saw me coming, but they couldn't stop me before I CRASHED INTO THEIR HEADS.

Jill: Any reason for being red specifically?
?
Dana: That way I was three times faster!

Dana: How did you find that out? Do you like wrestling?
?
Jill: A client mentioned it yesterday when he saw you. I just kinda remembered it.
?
Dana:
Dana: Ah, I see.
?
Dana: I should take you to a wrestling match sometime. Maybe you'll like it.
?
Jill:
Jill: Maybe.

I'll leave the rest up to you. I'll detonate the Pluto Warhead somewhere safe.
The what where now?
Dana:沒(méi)什么。 Nothing. Nevermind.

?A month ago, we had to clarify that we were talking about the animal in an article about "cougars in nearby forests." All because we got a pack of forty-year-old divorced soccer moms crying about hurt feelings.

他們的心肝寶貝(the Apple of their eyes)————
You can sell the shittiest of stuff and people will buy it if you're the Apple of their eyes.

Keep me as the Apple of the eye."(求你保護(hù)我,如同保護(hù)眼中的瞳孔。)另《申命記》第32章也出現(xiàn)"He kept him as the Apple of his eye."(保護(hù)他如同保護(hù)眼中的瞳孔。)

Selene————
You know, years ago I met the lead engineer of the moon cannon.
What kind of guy was he?
He said he started the project to pick up girls. ?Apparently he always told them he'd name it after them. Seems it was *this* close to being called the Simonetta cannon instead of the Selene cannon.
