I''ve have owned several of Samsung''s flagship phones (and several HTC''s). But for a change I''ve just bought my first Huawei (mate 10 pro). Here are my thoughts -
Samsung phones are overpriced with a better reputation than they deserve. They are in no way bad phones, but they have always come across as average in my opinion, (particularly with the user interface). They appear far more glitchy than other premium manufacturers and seem to suffer some slow down at an earlier point. I''ve also found that their phones look like they''re 2 years old after 6 months. They certainly don''t age very well and need to be handled with care. (HTC on the other hand are the complete opposite)
Now then, I''ve had my Huawei mate 10 pro for about a month. And it''s a very impressive phone and probably more practical in everyday use compared to Samsung''s. It also has a trick up it''s sleeve that prevents slow down that happens over a period of time. And as for the battery life, it blows Samsung out of the water. Camera set up is a major plus for Huawei as they team up with Leica to give you a photography experience that''s more like a dedicated digital camera compared to other smartphone manufacturers.

Now we talk about battery performance, I used phone both phones half hour Huawei P30 Pro battery goes down 4% while Samsung Galaxy S10 plus down 6%.Huawei P30 Pro comes with 40W Super fast charger while Samsung Galaxy S10 have 27W charger.

Conclusion:-If we see report by Counterpoint Huawei easily beat Samsung in both topic(shipment and market share).If I share my experience Samsung phone display have decent but I not said Huawei is not good Huawei also better.After display no any place Samsung beat Huawei if we talked about camera, battery and many more.If we talk about price Huawei phone provide great feature in price of 65k to 70k but Samsung provide sane feature in 80k to 85k while it''s camera and battery not like Huwaei. At last I say Huawei is only brand that can beat Samsung and reach number 1 brand.I say Huawei is better brand than Samsung.

We probably agree that overall Apple is the leader, Samsung is closely behind. Huawei phones use high quality components and are just as good but at half the price. However, this assessment does not paint the true picture.
When your friend buys an Apple, Samsung or Huawei, would you offer to buy him lunch in exchange to let you play with the new phone? Remember in early days that your friends watched with envy when you paid big bucks for an iPhone? Today, one may have better battery or more RAM or more pixels, but they are all basically the same. Huawei and Samsung runs on Android and there are minimal differences because everything is dictated by the apps. We pay $500 more for Apple because it comes in Rose Gold while Huawei is just plain white. There is no quantum jump.

My take is Apple phones cost the most so Samsung sold their phones just a little lower than Apple so their profits will also be high but then suddenly Huawei came along and keep coming with better cheaper faster phones.
Now all these phone companies are woken up. As the result they probably told the US government Huawei is security risk if their phones and equipment are sold across America:
It happens all the time that companies can complain to US government agencies such as the FTC to investigate another competitor.
This kind of tactics do work and now Huawei is excluded from doing business in the USA. If China has an advance chip company selling here, it will be ban as well in the interest of national security. This is new way for US to suppress Chinese companies. It’s working so far until China fights back. I don’t expect China will do nothing about it.

I am Chinese and I have used Samsung and Huawei mobile phones. For me, Samsung has the best screen,storage, video system and daytime photos.Huawei''s camera system only has an advantage in extremely dark environments. And 5G, which is not really useful right now. Huawei has a lousy screen, the worst of any flagship phone I''ve ever used. You may wonder why Huawei’s mobile share is growing so fast? Samsung was among the first manufacturers and huawei is the company that recently got its name for the mobile phones they make. In terms of displays go Samsung is the king because they make the best display on any smartphone right now. Huawei devices are not much known on the past and with the Huawei mate 10 Pro and mate 10 the company got name among the premium smartphone market and right now they are making some really interesting phones. The p20 pro and p20 has the best DXO Mark score ever given to a smartphone.
But I will only stick to Samsung devices only because the quality of the device and I love Samsung displays.
The recent huwaei phones comes with the notch and its not my taste. But all say its the future, but i love notchless screen.
If you are if you are on the premium market I will say to go for Samsung or it will comes to personal preference the belief in brand.
if you are on a budget, you have different options. Huawei phones provide more specs for the less money and Samsung provides more quality for the money you pay.

For fast upxes, Google (the Pixel line at the moment). For cheap but good phones, OnePlus. For an expensive phone that gives you a little fruit emblem for a lot of money, Apple (for a phone you can’t do many modifications to, unless it can be done by adding an app, which is never free - many Android apps are).
Samsung? Maybe, if they started having customer service and tech support. Right now it looks as if “they’re not profit centers, so we don’t want them”. They make great phones (I love Notes) but having run cs and ts centers, I know how bad their handling of customers really is. I’d rather deal with Google, whose first response to a really tough problem (I don’t call them with any other kind) is “We’ll replace the phone”.

If you are alltime photography lover, then Huawei might be lucrative to you.
But in routine life, apps, feel, premium-ness, maturity, innovation, Samsung is way better phone than Huawei, although Huawei is now banned in many nations, so if you are going to spend much for any flagship phone, then go for brand reputation.
Rest, buying phone only for camera is not a good choice, when there are so many apps available for the good photography in play store.

Same as Apple or Samsung or other any comparison… it’s subjective and what only should matter to you is what you need and what ANY of the smartphone industry offers to you. If you want a good AMOLED display for very good price, get Samsung but if you love Huawei designs and you really like their AI SoC, then get Huawei. With this, i just want to say that neither Samsung is the winner nor Huawei because either Samsung has their advantages and disadvantages (same with Huawei or any other company).
But if you meant financially, Samsung is above Huawei globally.
