羊城 /GUANGZHOU

很多城市都有別名，它代表了一個城市其獨(dú)特的氣質(zhì)，而廣州的“羊城”之名已經(jīng)有2000多年的歷史。
相傳有五位仙人，身穿五彩衣，騎著五色羊，拿著一莖六穗的優(yōu)良稻谷種子，降臨 “楚庭”，將稻穗贈給當(dāng)?shù)厝嗣瘢⒆８＿@里永無饑荒。說完后，五位仙人便騰空而去, 五只羊則變成了石頭。當(dāng)?shù)厝嗣駷榧o(jì)念五位仙人，修建了一座五仙觀，傳說五仙觀即為”楚庭”所在。由此，廣州有“羊城”的別 名。

Many cities have nicknames, which represent the unique temperament of a city, and the name of “Yangcheng” in Guangzhou has a history of more than 2000 years.

It is said that five immortals, dressed in colorful clothes and wearing five colored sheep, came to “chuting” with a stem and six ears of fine rice seeds, gave the ears of rice to the local people, and wished there would never be famine here. After that, the five immortals flew away, and the five sheep became stones. The local people built a five immortals temple in memory of the five immortals. It is said that the five immortals temple is where the “Chu court” is located. Therefore, Guangzhou has the nickname of “Yangcheng”.
