How to travel by train in China

Step1.At the beginning ,you arrive at the station by car.

Step2.Find the ticket office ,it usually locates at the far right or left of the station.

Step3.Find the English ticket counter.

Use the passport to get the ticket through English Speaking Counter.

?These machines can only used through Chinese ID card as far as I know.So don’t use them.

Step4.After getting the ticket,go back to entrance,prepare your passport and ticket.

Step5.Put your luggage through an X-ray machine.Don’t take liquid or something dangerous on the train.

And pass a security check.

?Step6. Then you can go to the waiting room,

Look at your ticket and find your waiting room.(The example ticket is 7th?waiting room according to the yellow mark.)

Step7.Arrive at your waiting room,waiting for your train to check ticket again.

If the information marked by red mark turn from yellow to green,which means the train has arrived the station,and you can check ticket and get on the train.?

Tips:上海 is Chinese word for ShangHai.

Remember to pull out the ticket after inserting.

Step8.You can use escalators or elevator to go downstair.

Step9.Then you can see the train.

Check the ticket and find your carriage number(red mark).

The number of carriage is on the marginal of it.(The number of carriage of the image is 10.
