根據(jù)2022國際數(shù)學(xué)家大會(ICM)官方網(wǎng)站消息。2022年被視為國際數(shù)學(xué)最高獎項的菲爾茲數(shù)學(xué)獎已經(jīng)揭曉，共有4位數(shù)學(xué)家獲得殊榮。他們分別是:

就職于法國國際高等科學(xué)研究院的法國數(shù)學(xué)家度米尼爾-柯平(Hugo Duminil-Copin)，方向是概率論。

表彰其在統(tǒng)計物理學(xué)相變的概率理論中長期存在的問題的解法，特別是在三維和四維空間中。

Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for solving longstanding problems in the probabilistic theory of phase transitions in statistical physics, especially in dimensions three and four.

就職于普林斯頓大學(xué)的韓裔美國數(shù)學(xué)家許埈珥(June Huh)，方向是組合幾何。

表彰其將霍奇理論的思想引入組合學(xué)、幾何格上的道林-威爾遜猜想的證明、擬陣上的海倫-羅塔-威爾士猜想的證明、洛倫茲多項式理論的發(fā)展以及強(qiáng)梅森猜想的證明。

Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for bringing the ideas of Hodge theory to combinatorics,the proof of the Dowling-Wilson conjecture for geometriclattices,the proof of the Heron-Rota-Welsh conjecture for matroids,the development of the theory of Lorentzian polynomials,and the proof of the strong Mason conjecture.

就職于牛津大學(xué)的英國數(shù)學(xué)家 梅納德(James Maynard)，方向是數(shù)論。

表彰其對解析數(shù)理論的貢獻(xiàn)，這些貢獻(xiàn)在理解素數(shù)結(jié)構(gòu)和丟番圖近似方面取得了重大進(jìn)展。

Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for contriibutions to analytic numbertheory,which have led to major advances in the understanding of the structure of prime numbers and in Diophantine approximation.

就職于瑞士洛桑聯(lián)邦理工學(xué)院的烏克蘭數(shù)學(xué)家維婭佐夫斯卡(Maryna Viazovska)，方向是組合幾何。

表彰其利用E8格證明了8維空間中的等體球體最密堆積問題，以及對相關(guān)的極值問題和傅里葉分析中插值問題的貢獻(xiàn)。

Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for the proof that the E8 lattice provides the densest packing of identical spheres in 8 dimensions, and further contributions to related extremal problems and interpolation problems in fourier analysis.
