The communicative syllabus
It aims at learners communicative competence.It based on notional-functional syllabus,it teaches language need to express and understand different kinds of functions.And it emphasizes the process of communication . Ten components of communicative syllabus: yalden(1983) lexical content that will be needed

the varieties of target language Will be needed and the levels in spoken and written language that the learners will need to reach.

5.the functions that the event involved,or the learners will need to able to do with or through the language 6.the notions involved or the learners will need to be able to talk about 7.the communicative events in which the learners will participate:vocational or professional situations, Every day situations,academic situations.
8.The ideas of settings in which they want to use their target language,including physical or social settings 9.The socially defined roles the learners will assume in the target language.and the roles their interlocutor 10.As detailed a consideration as possible of the purposes for which the learners wish to acquire target language.
