Cowboy Like Me 是Evermore中的第11首歌，歌曲回歸了Taylor早期的鄉(xiāng)村風格。這首歌講述了兩個墜入愛河的江湖騙子之間的故事，他們“在奢侈的度假村里，（一邊）努力贏得富豪好感”，一邊兩人眉目傳情。

在evermore專輯發(fā)行當天，他在Instagram上post了一張taylor手寫的歌詞：

the way forward是慣用短語，本意是“前方（該走）的路”，引申為“成功之道；必由之路；（褒義的）未來”，I could be the way forward only if they pay for it就是說，只有他們付錢，我才會做他們的美好未來。

這兩句比較難翻，因為英文skeletons in the closet字面意思是“衣柜里的骨架”，常用義為“見不得光的秘密；丑聞”。難翻就在于由于這個喻體是skeletons，所以英文后面可以加動作plot，給人以一種"柜子里藏著的尸體死而復生，密謀著想要復仇"的意味，而中文翻譯成丑聞之后，就變成了一個一般不能加動作的主體，由于缺少了英文中的喻體，直接翻譯“丑聞謀劃著想把一切都搞砸”的話，只能希望讀者感悟到這個擬人手法。

我暫時也沒想到什么好的處理方式，只能希望大家看完上面這段話之后可以體會到Taylor用完這個比喻之后加個Plot的精妙。
