Some people think extremely sports are dangerous and they should be banned.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Extreme sports have been increasingly popular nowadays, however, in news , constantly ,there would be reports about its detrimental effects such as accidents or even death. This leads to an urge to stop this kind of sports . In terms of this calling ,I have a mixed attitude . On the one hand ,I do admit it may be dangerous to some extent; on the other ,it still contains some meaningfulness for people to practice.

Extreme sports ,characterized by different disciplines such as mountaineering ,wild climbing, white water rafting ,are generally more risky and challengable compared to normal sports and indoor sports .As there is a complex high demanding on professional equipments, experiences, and partnership ,this kind of sports is considered not suitable for ordinary people who have not received related training to perform ;otherwise ,it would be life risky as the majority of these sports are engaged in extreme natural conditions .For example ,high altitude mountaineering usually takes place in high altitude places where there is less oxygen ;similarly , rafting in canyons or oceans actually are to fight with unpredictable rabbits (沒記錯(cuò)的話峽谷的浪叫rabbits )and waves , all of which are accompanied by dangers and uncertainties. In the history of human explorations , some pioneers died when climbing because of sudden climate catastrophe ,such as avalanche and the development of one particular extreme sports builds on the devotion from pioneers ,sometimes ,even including their lives .Not only does this sport pose threat to human ,it also would be likely to pollute local eco system as well as environment .During the peak season of Himalaya mountaineering ,the base camp is overwhelmed by numerous garbage , which is a real eco disaster. And this is what we can see from the press. When seeing the innocent Himalaya become no different as the polluted cities , we can not help concerning the survival of local wild creatures.

Despite the seen drawbacks , people still keen on playing this kind of sport base the ground on the fact that in a peaceful contemporary life ,there is no other activities as stimulating and adventurous as extreme sports .Doing adventurous activities ,therefore, could offer people access to competing with either themselves or the external environment, through which they could gain a better or even new perspective about themselves or the world .This comes the magic and addiction of this sport. The more physically suffering ,the more ecstatic feeling they would achieve when reaching the top of the mountain or finishing the journey. Usually ,when conquering one mountain ,they would set another as ambition and starts again .When it comes to other benefits in a large scale ,some trips could lead to some scientific breakthroughs .By exploring in the South Pole, scientists can decode the green gas effects on the permanent glaciers ,thus ,facilitating the solutions on global warming .

What you can draw from discussed above is that it takes efforts for people to prepare and fulfill extreme sports safely . Besides ,regulations should also be established as to the frequency and the number of visitors in such remote areas to save a pure and undisturbed land for the earth.
