100年前，愛爾蘭詩人葉芝（William Butler Yeats ）獲得了1923年的諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。

這首詩被中國(guó)歌手趙照改編成著名的《當(dāng)你老了》，

水木年華也曾經(jīng)以此為藍(lán)本寫過《一生有你》。

然而，這首詩是葉芝寫給他一生愛而不得的“女神”：茅德岡。

葉芝深愛茅德岡，但對(duì)方只接受葉芝的友情，拒絕接受他的愛情，并嫁給了一名軍人。

經(jīng)歷過家庭暴力、婚變后，茅德岡的丈夫因?yàn)橐淮螒?zhàn)斗被槍殺，她依然選擇做別人的情婦，屢次拒絕葉芝的求婚。

這個(gè)時(shí)候，葉芝52歲了。

他終于選擇了28歲的年輕女作家，組成了家庭。
