1:1 德敖斐羅！我在第一部書中，已論及耶穌所行所教的一切，

1:2 直到他借圣神囑咐了所選的宗徒之后，被接去的那一天為止；

1:2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

1:3 他受難以后，用了許多憑據(jù)，向他們顯明自己還活著，四十天之久發(fā)現(xiàn)給他們，講論天主國的事。

1:3 After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

1:4 耶穌與他們一起進(jìn)食時，吩咐他們不要離開耶路撒冷，但要等候父的恩許，即你們聽我所說過的：

1:4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.

1:5 「若翰固然以水施了洗，但不多幾天以后，你們要因圣神受洗?！?/p>

1:5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

1:6 他們聚集的時候，就問耶穌說：「主，是此時要給以色列復(fù)興國家嗎﹖」

1:6 So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"

1:7 他回答說：「父以自己的權(quán)柄所定的時候和日期，不是你們應(yīng)當(dāng)知道的；

1:7 He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

1:8 但當(dāng)圣神降臨于你們身上時，你們將充滿圣神的德能，要在耶路撒冷及全猶太和撒瑪黎雅，并直到地極，為我作證人?！?/p>

1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

1:9 耶穌說完這些話，就在他們觀望中，被舉上升，有塊云彩接了他去，離開他們的眼界。

1:9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

1:10 他們向天注視著他上升的時候，忽有兩個穿白衣的人站在他們前，

1:10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.

1:11 向他們說：「加里肋亞人！你們?yōu)槭裁凑局炷丞t這位離開你們，被接到天上去的耶穌，你們看見他怎樣升了天，也要怎樣降來?！?/p>

1:11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."
