• Vietnamese police said on Thursday all 39 people found dead in the back of a truck near London last month were Vietnamese.

越南公安部在一份聲明中表示：“截至當(dāng)?shù)貢r間11月7日晚20時，越南公安部和英國政府已經(jīng)確認(rèn)，10月23日在英國埃塞克斯郡發(fā)現(xiàn)的39名遇難者全部是越南人。”

• “As of 20:00 p.m. on November 7, Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and British authorities had been able to confirm that all of the 39 victims found dead in Essex on October 23 were Vietnamese,” the ministry said in a statement.

據(jù)路透社報道，越南公安部表示，遇難者來自6個省，分別為：海防、海陽、義安、河靜、廣平和順化。

• The victims came from six provinces—Haiphong, Hai Duong, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Hue—the Ministry of Public Security said in a statement.

另一方面，英國警方當(dāng)天也表示，他們已正式確認(rèn)了39名死者的身份，并已通知了他們的家人。

英國負責(zé)調(diào)查的高級官員、埃塞克斯郡助理警長史密斯表示：“這是調(diào)查中重要的一步，讓我們能與越南警方合作，幫助受害者的家人?！?/span>

向遇難者家屬表示深切哀悼

據(jù)越南通訊社（Vietnam News Agency）7日報道，越南總理阮春福向在英國一輛集裝箱卡車中死亡的39名遇難者家屬表示深切哀悼。

他寫道：“這不僅是受害者家屬的痛苦，也是整個社區(qū)以及每個越南人和世界各地人民的痛苦。”

• “This is the pain of not only the victims’ families but also the entire community and of each Vietnamese and people around the world,” he wrote in the message.

阮春?？偫硪呀?jīng)指導(dǎo)越南外交部、公安部、各有關(guān)機構(gòu)和地方與英國各職能機構(gòu)緊密合作，迅速處理案件相關(guān)問題并采取必要的公民保護措施，盡早將遇難者遺體帶回國。

• Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged that the bodies of 39 Vietnamese found in a refrigerated truck in the UK?last month be brought home as soon as possible.

他說，越南政府強烈譴責(zé)人口販運活動和非法跨境運送人員的行為。越南呼吁地區(qū)和世界各國繼續(xù)加強合作，以預(yù)防和打擊此類犯罪，防止類似事件再次發(fā)生，并盡早結(jié)束調(diào)查以懲治犯罪者。

• He said the Vietnamese government strongly condemns human trafficking activities and the illegal transport of people abroad. Vietnam calls on countries in the region and the world to continue strengthening cooperation to prevent and crack down on this type of crime, prevent similar occurrences, and early conclude investigation to punish offenders.
