The graph compares how Japanese and American offices are constructed.

As to the layout of a typical Japanese office, it is used mostly for employees ’seats.
There is a department manager ‘s chair facing windows.
Two horizontal section manager seats are adjacent to their superior, each of which is consisted of two vertical lines of seats, with 6 in total, for ordinary worker. ?
And these six seats are paired facing each other.

By contrast, there appears more facility rooms in a typical American office.
In the left windows side, rooms for Printer copier, storage ,and two conference rooms are in top down sequence whereas left window s site lays 2 section managers’ independent working areas with department manager’s place locating at left bottom corner.
What makes up the middle is two lines of seats for ordinary worker.

Overall, Japanese office is team structured with ordinary workers’ seats connected in groups while in America, people have their own independent working area no matter whether they are managers or normal employees .
In addition, an office in America can be multiple functioned as opposed to single usage in Japanese office. ?
