【小試牛刀】

①One day, Spotty returned from his daily walk with a broken leg. He appeared very exhausted. He came to my room and sat near me. It was then that I saw his behind leg was injured and was bleeding.?I was sad and cried my mother for help, tears streaming down my cheeks.

Luckily, two days later, Spotty was up to his usual tricks though he limped(一瘸一拐) a bit. I really admired him for his courage.

②I was nine years old. It was a cold dark night. We had our meal and went to sleep. Somehow in the midnight I heard some strange sounds outside the main door. I felt so scared that my legs felt weak. I gathered courage and looked out through the window and I found Spotty, a small puppy.
