香煙裊裊透靈軒，鐘磬聲聲繞殿前。

仙鶴啾啾迎信眾，清風(fēng)颯颯響懸泉。

須山隱隱無(wú)塵濁，苦海湯湯有渡船。

參透禪機(jī)除俗念，菩提樹(shù)下皆善緣。

Incense smoke curls up through the lattice, the bell and chime sound around the temple.

Cranes chirp to welcome the believers, the breeze rustles over the hanging spring.

Mount Sumeru is intangible without dust, Sea of Bitterness is vast with ferry boat.

To understand the Zen and remove the secular thoughts, there are good karma under bodhi tree.

燭光搖曳，香煙裊裊。寺廟迎面的石碑上，刻著一首邛人懷忠先生的一首律詩(shī)。再往前走去，就是大雄寶殿了。

Candles flickered and smoke swirled. on the stone tablet in front of the temple, there engraved a rhythmic poem by Mr. Zhao Huaizhong. Going further, it was the Main Shrine Hall.?

佛祖在上，他安詳而慈悲地注視著走進(jìn)大殿，前來(lái)燒香膜拜的無(wú)數(shù)信男善女。古往今來(lái)，人間的皇帝不能救人于苦海，不能佑護(hù)天下蕓蕓眾生，人們當(dāng)然只能求助于天上的神仙，祈求家人和個(gè)人的幸福安祥了。

The Buddha looked calmly and compassionately into the hall, seeing the believers coming to burn incense to worship. Through the ages, the emperors of the world could not save people from the sea of bitterness, and could not bless the people under heaven. Of course, people could only turn to the immortal in heaven and pray for the happiness and peace of their families and individuals.

一大早，周興和與劉鳳瓊從鹽亭出來(lái)，專程趕到了鄰縣有名的梓潼大廟。他依從劉鳳瓊的建議，在他們正式結(jié)婚前，到這里來(lái)燒炷香許個(gè)愿。是的，這些年周興和真是運(yùn)交華蓋，多災(zāi)多舛??！現(xiàn)在他遇到了劉鳳瓊，怕是該時(shí)來(lái)運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)了吧！

Early in the morning, Zhou Xinghe and Liu Fengqiong came out from Yanting and hurried to the famous Zitong Temple in the neighboring county. He followed Liu Fengqiong's advice and came here to burn a incense and make a wish before they got married. In those years, Zhou Xinghe had been really unlucky and suffered a lot. Now that he had met Liu Fengqiong, it's time for a change of fortune!

劉鳳瓊點(diǎn)燃一炷香，插在了菩薩面前的香爐里。她默默地祈求著上天能保佑他們事業(yè)有成，生活順利，夫妻和睦，白頭到老。

Liu Fengqiong lit an incense, inserted in the incense burner in front of the buddha. She silently prayed to the heaven to bless them with successful career, smooth life, and harmonious marriage that would last forever.

他們的心愿是虔誠(chéng)的。

Their wishes were pious.

應(yīng)該說(shuō)，兩人今天能走到一起，實(shí)在太不容易了。

It should say that it was not easy for them to get together today.

燭光依然搖曳，香煙依然裊裊。

The candles were still flickering, the smoke still curling.

那天晚上，劉鳳瓊和周興和談話后，一整夜她都惴惴不安。

That night, after her conversation with Zhou Xinghe, Liu Fengqiong felt uneasy all night.

一大早，周興和就趕回農(nóng)村老家去了。望著周興和離去的背影，劉鳳瓊心情十分復(fù)雜。莫名其妙，從周興和走的當(dāng)天晚上起，鹽亭這地方就開(kāi)始下起了傾盆大雨。這雨，一下起來(lái)就沒(méi)完沒(méi)了，整整下了三天三夜，還沒(méi)有一點(diǎn)停歇的意思。劉鳳瓊望著涪江不斷上漲的江水，她心急如焚心亂如麻，開(kāi)始后悔不該給周興和施加壓力，應(yīng)該給他一定的時(shí)間，慢慢妥善地來(lái)處理他的家庭問(wèn)題。她知道，盡管周興和沒(méi)有肯定地給她做出什么承諾，但他是個(gè)做事認(rèn)真，說(shuō)到就要做到的人——萬(wàn)一他回去后妻子不同意離婚怎么辦？在離婚的過(guò)程中出了什么意外怎么辦？他離不成婚，自己又應(yīng)該怎么辦呢？……

Early in the morning, Zhou Xinghe hurried back to his hometown in the countryside. Looking at the figure that Zhou Xinghe left, Liu Fengqiong’s mood was very complex. Somehow, from the night Zhou Xinghe left, it began to pour down in Yanting. It rained for three whole days and nights without a break. Liu Fengqiong looking at Fujiang River rising up, felt burning with anxiety and utterly confused, and began to regret to give Zhou Xinghe pressure; it should give him a certain amount of time, slowly and properly to deal with his family issues. She knew that although Zhou Xinghe had not made any definite promises to her, he was a man who meant what he said. What if his wife did not agree to divorce him when he returned home? What if any accident happened in the process of divorce? What should she do if he could not get a divorce? ...

一連幾天，劉鳳瓊食不甘味夜不能寐，可到了第三天傍晚，正在她坐立不安之時(shí)，有人敲響了房門(mén)。她惴惴不安地打開(kāi)門(mén)一看，叫她吃了一驚！只見(jiàn)周興和面容疲憊憔悴，渾身上下都是污泥，淋得像只落湯雞，推著一輛破自行車(chē)站在家門(mén)口。

For a few days, Liu Fengqiong could not sleep at night, but to the third day in the evening, when she was fidgeting, someone knocked on the door. She opened the door nervously and startled herself! Zhou Xinghe looked tired and haggard outside. He was covered with mud and was like a drowned rat, and hold a broken bicycle standing at her door.

“下這么大的雨，你怎么不等雨停了再走嘛！”劉鳳瓊嗔怪道，她邊說(shuō)邊把周興和讓進(jìn)屋里，“萬(wàn)一摔倒了怎么辦，萬(wàn)一感冒了咋個(gè)辦喲！……”

"It's raining so heavily. Why don't you wait till the rain stops?" Scolding from Liu Fengqiong, she said while letting Zhou Xinghe get into the room, "What if you fall down? What if you catch a cold? ..."

走進(jìn)門(mén)，周興和沒(méi)說(shuō)一句話，只是默默從身上掏出一個(gè)用塑料布包裹著的東西遞給她，然后長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)地嘆了一口氣，一下就癱倒在椅子上。劉鳳瓊滿是狐疑地打開(kāi)那個(gè)塑料包，原來(lái)是一本離婚證書(shū)。

Without saying a word, Zhou Xinghe took something wrapped in a plastic bag from his pocket and handed it to her. Then, with a long sigh, he collapsed into a chair. Suspicious, Liu Fengqiong opened the plastic bag, which turned out to be a divorce certificate.

周興和真的離了婚！這叫劉鳳瓊又驚又喜。她的心情很復(fù)雜，她知道這本離婚證書(shū)，是犧牲另一個(gè)女人的代價(jià)換來(lái)的，心里不由得掠過(guò)一絲愧疚……

Zhou Xinghe really divorced! Liu Fengqiong was pleasantly surprised. She felt very complicated. She knew that this divorce certificate was obtained at the expense of another woman, and felt a little guilty.

周興和下決心和劉鳳瓊結(jié)婚，有一個(gè)很重要的原因，那就是劉鳳瓊對(duì)他的忠貞：當(dāng)周興和被收審關(guān)進(jìn)看守所后，當(dāng)時(shí)負(fù)責(zé)辦他案子的那個(gè)檢察官，其實(shí)是個(gè)人面獸心的家伙。當(dāng)他知道劉鳳瓊與周興和的關(guān)系后，以周興和案子為由，多次跑到劉鳳瓊家里去糾纏她，甚至大白天在她家里肆無(wú)忌憚要強(qiáng)行與她發(fā)生性關(guān)系，但都被劉鳳瓊堅(jiān)決拒絕。周興和出獄后，聽(tīng)朋友講了這件事，還唏噓感動(dòng)了一番。

Zhou Xinghe made up his mind to marry Liu Fengqiong for a very important reason, that was, Liu Fengqiong's loyalty to him: when Zhou Xinghe was put into detention, the prosecutor who was in charge of his case was actually a beast with a human face. After he knew the relation of Liu Fengqiong and Zhou Xinghe, on the execuse of Zhou Xinghe’s case, he went to Liu Fengqiong’s home to pester her for many times, and even wanted to have sexual relationship forcibly with her in her home even in broad daylight, but he was refused firmly by Liu Fengqiong. After Zhou Xinghe was released from prison, he listened the story from his friend and was touched.

但兩人要真正走到一起，事情遠(yuǎn)不是那么簡(jiǎn)單。

But it took a lot more than that for the two people to actually get together.

劉鳳瓊要與周興和結(jié)婚的消息，不到兩天，就傳遍了小小的鹽亭縣城，引起人們議論紛紛。在劉鳳瓊家里更是引起了一場(chǎng)地震，立即遭到她全家，特別是她父母的反對(duì)。你想，在當(dāng)時(shí)城鄉(xiāng)差別那么大的情況下，城里的男人不管是瘸子麻子，只要你愿意，就可以在農(nóng)村挑個(gè)漂亮的姑娘；還沒(méi)聽(tīng)說(shuō)城里有工作的女人去找個(gè)農(nóng)村丈夫的，何況她要找的這個(gè)丈夫，不但腰無(wú)半文，而且還結(jié)過(guò)婚，農(nóng)村還有4個(gè)孩子！

Within two days, the news that Liu Fengqiong was going to marry Zhou Xinghe had spread all over the small town of Yanting and caused much discussion. It caused an earthquake in Liu Fengqiong's home, which was immediately opposed by her whole family, especially her parents. You see, in those days, when there was so much difference between the city and country: a man in the city, whether lame or pockmarked, could pick a pretty girl in the country if he wants to; but it had never been heard that a woman with a job in the city went looking for a rural husband, and what's more, she was looking for a husband who had no money, but married and had four children in the countryside!

但此時(shí)劉鳳瓊也顧不得那么多了，她不管父母的百般阻撓，鐵了心就要嫁給周興和。

But right now, Liu Fengqiong also did not consider so much, regardless of her parents’ obstruction by every means, she had decided to marry Zhou Xinghe.

1989年3月8日，他們?cè)邴}亭縣城舉辦了婚禮。劉鳳瓊的父母連他們的婚禮也沒(méi)有參加，也不準(zhǔn)女兒兩口兒上門(mén)。過(guò)了幾天，劉鳳瓊帶著周興和上門(mén)去拜見(jiàn)父母，可敲了半天門(mén)，兩個(gè)老人也把他們拒之門(mén)外。

On March 8, 1989, they held their wedding in Yanting County. Liu Fengqiong's parents did not even attend their wedding and did not allow their daughter and his new husband to come to their house. A few days later, when Liu Fengqiong took Zhou Xinghe to visit her parents, she knocked on the door for a long time, but they still turned them away.

周興和與劉鳳瓊結(jié)婚后，就住在劉鳳瓊原來(lái)的房子里。不久，周興和就回到農(nóng)村，將小兒子接到了城里來(lái)。平常百姓的日子，當(dāng)然首先是油鹽柴米。在這段時(shí)間里，他們拖著兩個(gè)孩子，經(jīng)濟(jì)上非常拮據(jù)，常常捉襟見(jiàn)肘。在最困難時(shí)，有時(shí)竟還吃了上頓無(wú)下頓，幾個(gè)星期難得開(kāi)回葷。

After Zhou Xinghe married Liu Fengqiong, they lived in Liu Fengqiong's old house. Soon after, Zhou Xinghe returned to the countryside and brought his youngest son to the city. Ordinary people's life, of course, was the fuel and rice. During that time, with two children in tow, they were financially strapped, often beyond their means. In the most difficult time, they even had no money for the next meal, or a few weeks without any meat.

看來(lái)，他們專程去梓潼大廟燒香求佛還是有些枉然，大慈大悲的菩薩這時(shí)還沒(méi)來(lái)得及青睞他們。

It seemed in vain that they made a special trip to Zitong Temple to burn incense and pray for Buddha. The merciful Buddha had not yet had time to favor them.

從看守所出來(lái)后，周興和孑然一身，已是一無(wú)所有，既無(wú)項(xiàng)目，又無(wú)場(chǎng)地，更無(wú)資金，原來(lái)的木材生意也無(wú)法再做了，當(dāng)然更無(wú)法籌辦自己的企業(yè)。為了養(yǎng)家糊口，周興和沒(méi)日沒(méi)夜在外面打短工、攬工程、跑材料、做生意。而劉鳳瓊則利用上班之余，為周興和介紹關(guān)系、收集信息、疏通渠道，籌措資金。生活雖說(shuō)艱難，但那幾年他們還是互敬互諒，相處還是比較和睦的。

After coming out of the detention house, Zhou Xinghe was left with nothing. There was no project, no site, and no capital. The original timber business could no longer be done, and of course, he could not organize his own enterprise. In order to support his family, Zhou Xinghe worked outside day and night as a day laborer, trying to cotract projects, handling materials and doing business. Liu Fengqiong, on the other hand, used her spare time to introduce contacts, collect information, open channels and raise funds for Zhou Xinghe. Though the life was hard, they showed mutual respect and understanding in those years and got along well with each other.

第二年初春，周興和偶然聽(tīng)到一個(gè)消息：成都和平建材加工廠因嚴(yán)重虧損，準(zhǔn)備找人承包出去——這倒是一個(gè)很好的機(jī)會(huì)，周興和與劉鳳瓊商量后，準(zhǔn)備前去試一試了。

In the early spring of the second year, Zhou Xinghe accidentally heard a news: Chengdu Heping Building Materials Processing Plant was ready to find someone to contract out because of its heavy losses - this was a very good opportunity, Zhou Xinghe and Liu Fengqiong discussed, ready to go and try.

但，就憑周興和現(xiàn)在這的這種窘?jīng)r，他能承包到這個(gè)企業(yè)嗎？

However, with Zhou Xinghe's current predicament, could he contract to this enterprise?
