But so, too, can knowledge be its demise

The Scarlet King (King Deshret) brought this forbidden knowledge into our world

And it quickly spread like a plague

便如同瘟疫一般散播開來

People's minds were filled with crazed whispers

腦海充斥著瘋狂的囈語

Dark gray scales spread across their bodies

灰黑色的鱗片爬滿了背脊

Even the land was stripped of its vigor

大地也似乎被奪去了生命

Only a desperate, deathly silence remained

只剩絕望的死寂

Were it not for Greater Lord Rukkhadevata from the forests

若非林中的大慈樹王伸出援手

The damage would have been irreversible

一切早已無法逆轉(zhuǎn)

She summoned the priests to build temples

她召集祭司修建起數(shù)座神廟

And infused into them the divine power of life

并傾注了生命的神力

The disaster was miraculously tempered

災(zāi)禍被奇跡般地遏止

And the embers of our civilization were preserved in Aaru Village

文明的星火也得以在阿如村留存

Alas, the miracle could not last

但「奇跡」無法長久

As long as forbidden knowledge continued to exist

只要禁忌知識存在

It would forever blight this world

便永遠是這個世界的「病灶」

In the end

直到最后

The proud king of the desert... my eternal lord...

沙漠孤傲的王…我的王…

Chose to sacrifice himself

選擇了自我犧牲

I have spent my whole life since guarding one of these many temples

我的余生都在守護眾神廟中的一座

But now, my duty is coming to an end

如今這份職責(zé)也將要抵達終點

As I close my eyes for the final time

在我徹底閉上眼睛的時候

The sight of that noble deity will appear in my vision once more...

In helping the Scarlet King (King Deshret) to eradicate forbidden knowledge

為了配合赤王根除禁忌知識而透支力量

She exhausted her strength, and her form became that of a small child

她的身形變得像孩童一般

How strange

真是奇怪啊

Now that I think of her, I no longer have any fear of death...

想起她我便不再害怕死亡了…

For I sense that

因為我感受到…

The spirit of life will abide with me during my eternal sleep

生命的氣息將會伴我長眠

Children of the desert

沙漠的子民們啊

Cling no longer to past grievances

無需再記恨什么

But hold tight to the memory

但唯獨這份恩情

Of this act of benevolence
