英語中有大量的派生詞綴，前綴和后綴加起來約近 250 個，這里僅列舉幾個

較能反映英漢思維模式差異的詞綴，目的是引導(dǎo)學(xué)習(xí)者在學(xué)習(xí)時學(xué)會自己總結(jié)。

學(xué)習(xí)者碰到否定意義表達時，更習(xí)慣于使用否定句型，而不擅長使用加前綴的

否定動詞，如果在平時的學(xué)習(xí)中有意識地積累這方面的構(gòu)詞方式，有助于我們

擺脫“濫用”使役結(jié)構(gòu)“（make ＋賓語＋賓補）”的狀況，從而使英語表達更地道，

更豐富。學(xué)習(xí)下面這些動詞，不僅有助于加深對使役動詞用法的理解，而且在使

用時能做到觸類旁通。

1. arrange vt 安排；布置；整理；

(dis-arrange) disarrange vt 擾亂； 使紊亂。

to disarrange sb’s plans/hair. 擾亂某人之計劃（弄亂某人的頭發(fā)）。

2. array vt 列陣；穿著

(dis-array) disarray vt (使)紊亂；使脫去衣服。

The naughty pupils disarray the class. 頑皮的學(xué)生打亂了班上的秩序。

3. band vt/vi 結(jié)伙；結(jié)對；結(jié)合

disband vt / vi (指團體)解散； 裁撤。

The army (was) disbanded when the war ended. 戰(zhàn)事結(jié)束后，軍隊（被）裁撤了。

4. believe vt/vi 相信；認為

disbelieve vt/vi 不肯相信；不能或不愿相信。

I disbelieved her and her story. 我不相信她和她的陳述。

5. bud vt. 使發(fā)芽 vi. 發(fā)芽，萌芽

disbud vt 摘去草木嫩芽。

The cotton was disbudded. 除去棉花嫩芽。

6. burden vt 裝載；加負擔(dān)于；使負擔(dān)

disburden vt 卸除…負擔(dān)。

Confession disburdened her mind of anxiety. 懺悔解除了她心中的憂慮。

7．claim vt/ vi 要求承認某人之身份、所有權(quán)

10. compose vt 控制；使鎮(zhèn)定；使安靜

11. connect vt 連接；連結(jié)（在物質(zhì)上，人事關(guān)系上等）

disconnect vt 使分開；拆開(兩物)
