Unique Traditional Payment
Do you remember the day you went to a store, took out a couple of coins and got a bottle of soft drink? Nowadays, most of us buy soft drinks by tapping our phones or swiping cards, and this called electronic payment really promotes our life. However, I prefer traditional payment for its own characteristics that electronic payment doesn’t have.
First, the information security. Buying goods with cell phone requires to scan shop’s QR code or use the card readers in the store. By doing this, hackers can trace purchase history, bank account and even asset with tricks on the QR code images or card readers. With traditional payment, one pays cash on delivery, leaving nothing but paper money so that your private information won’t be disclosed unconsciously.
Second, the consciousness of money management. With electronic payment, people buy what they want with the results of decreased numbers and easy-to-be-ignored notifications, making people care little about their allowance. In contrast, with wallets getting thinner and thinner, people will have not visual, but tactual feedback, which makes it clearer for people to know how much they have paid and left. Thus people will be more sensitive for their asset and gradually have the mind to make plans for money.
Third, the leisure lifestyle. Electronic payment enables people to finish the buying process in seconds, pushing them to finish tasks . It’s good for efficiency, but sometimes makes people a busy spinning top. With traditional payment, people take out their wallet, handle the money and wait for change, during which they can have a relaxing gossip with the assistants or others around them to ease the stress from work. Traditional payment represents an easy lifestyle, in which people run their errands in peaceful pace and aren’t always worried.
In conclusion, electronic payment brings convenience and efficiency, but the traditional payment owns its unique virtues which cannot be simply abandoned. Traditional payment makes it safe for payment, arouses economical awareness and presents a comfortable lifestyle, which attracts me to give my preference to it.
